New here... and on TRT...

Hello,
I'm new registered here since after I was a long time lurker. :)
Nice to find here a such big TRT section! I don't know another sithe with so much background facts and user experiences.

My balls aren't producing the right dose of T. since any time and I'm on self managed TRT. I have a urologist termin in January and I'm curious about what he will say to that.
I hope, he will prescribe it for me official so the insurance will pay for it (should not be a problem).

I'm on TRT since 3 months. First I was try gel, but itÄs not so funny to smear it on myself. After 2 weeks I was beginning with intra muscular injections of Omnadren 200mg/week but it is no good stuff for TRT. It has a too high peak and levels go fast very low.
After that I was using 200mg/week testosteron enanthate intra muscular.
To inject in the muscle was not so the finest thing and also the up and down was to feel.
Now I'm on 120mg/week (0,5ml) testosteron enanthate subcutaneous with a insulin syringe. It's very easy to do, no hurting after ans really stable level. Nice!
In this way TRT is very easy to do. :D
E2 is a little problem last time, but I'm using Aromasin 12mg/d since two weeks and it seems to help. I have a bit more belly fat so the aromastase is a bit higher on me.
Since I'm using it my balls are very very big (doubled in size), is this a normal effect?
I don't have read about such thing anywhere...!?

Greetings
Jojo ;)

Yes, pls share bloodwork. I'm assuming you based your dosing off those results.

Your testicles should not have gotten bigger. I'm stumped as to why that would be unless you're also running hcg.

Ya, I'm sure you'll have a few paying attention to this one with a comment like "since I've started TRT, my balls have doubled in size"!
I would see a doc. Doesn't sound normal to me..?

I haven't done bloodwork but I'll do a saliva test this days and in January will do the urologist a full bloodtest.
I'm waiting for this appointment since 4 months... :angel2:

Yes, I also wondering about the bigger testes since using AI.
I have test about they are back and producing Testosterone, but I think no, after 9 days after last injection I was suffered from side effects of low Testosterone.

Your Urologist will see that you are already on TRT. This will make him hesitant to treat you. How do you plan on handling this situation?

I'll say him, what I'm doing. Should not be a problem.

It was necessary for my health and my concentration at work and life, because I have had very much stressful events in the last time.
The TRT has improved my health very very much! My heartrate and bloodpressure are at best levels now, after using bad drugs over years before.
The doctors hadn't test the hormones with the statement "Not at your age!"... I'm 41, what is not soo young!? Stupid doctors! :(
I think, it's was going slowly down after my vasectomy but can also other things play a role.

... I'm wondering, nobody here are using subcutane injection method.
Why?
I've read much about it, also studies, and for my understanding it should be the gold standard. ;)
You need the half dose as on intra muscular injections and also it's good vor very stable levels.

I do subcutaneous injections. I do at times do delts which likely is intra muscular though.

Could you explain this?

You don't need half dose intra vs Sub. You still need the same dose. Sub would require you inject less each time as you don't want 2cc of fluid under your skin type thing. With TRT you are injecting .3ish an injection which is cool sub.

No, in severus studies and also in my own experience I need exactly the half dose for the same levels.
IM I need 250mg enanthate per week and SC I need only the half and the level is very stable over the whole 7 days.
It's only tested for TRT dosage, for cycles could be, it is not a good way because it's too much fluid.

Just wondering about your balls....... (theres something I never thought I would say!) Is it possible that your balls didnt double in size at all but before this they were shrunken and you just figured that was your normal size> and now they have returned to normal size from using HCG and they just look huge in comparison?

I don't use HCG, I seen no sense to using it for me.
The bigger balls seems to be an effect of the AI, before using it both was the whole time normal in size.

Please post the studies. Thanks.

Ok, the efficiency ratio is not really doubled, but with 100mg will arrived 800mg mean is a very very good level for TRT. :)
The measured mean 1600 is too much for TRT but seems a bit high in this study...

I'm also interested in my results in January! :)
My generally feeling, sexuality and health is very good at time. Much better then before.

I don't see what you are saying. That study says 50mg/wk was 422ng/dl. 100mg = 896ng/dl. 200mg = 1659ng/dl so how does that show that half the dose of IM given subcutaneously achieves the same level? And maybe I missed it, but the study didn't seem to address E2.

The NIH study seems to indicate no appreciable difference between sub and im injections on test levels. But if someone could point me to a study that shows any impact on estrogen levels, I'd appreciate it.
