New Lab Results...Very troubling

Hey guys, I finally got my labs back, and to say the least, i am very disturbed and upset. What is going on here? Can anyone help?
These labs were taken 2 days after my last cyp injection, in the morning.

Testosterone, Total 906.1 348-1197
Free Testosterone 37 8.7-25.1 FLAGGED HIGH
SHBG 11.5 16.5-55.9 FLAGGED LOW
TSH .960 .450-4.500
Estradiol Sensitive 13 3-70
Thryoxine (T4) 8.1 4.5-12.0
Triiodothyronine(T3) 113 71-180
Triiodothryonine, Free 3.8 2.0-4.4
RBC 5.81 4.14-5.80 FLAGGED HIGH
Hematocrit 51.4 37.5-51.0 FLAGGED HIGH

Megatron, Half-wit, Riprock, etc.......please help me out here!!!!! Im still feeling bad with no energy, low libido, anxiety, and deprression. I have heard that abnormally low SHBG levels is the "kiss of death" on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Am i fucked?

I wonder if thats why I didn't feel like a Rached Wilderbeast while on my cycle, reason why I upped it.

Here's an informative thread about shbg and thought post #17 was really good info...

hmmmm.....I would like to go ahead and test for insulin resistance. does anyone know the test that is used for it on privatemdlabs?

Will, I have to agree with Halfwit. Also, I would look in to doing 250ius of HCG twice per week instead of 500ius at once. I my levels were more balanced by doing it that way. I think your estrogen is definitely too low. I would back off on the adex like was suggested. Good luck. Oh, and go donate some blood. Hopefully you won't get a newbie and fuck up your arm from that 16 gauge going in it. Lol.

Insulin Resistance

I was also concerned about being insulin resistant, so a couple of months ago I bought a cheap glucose meter and started testing my fasting glucose every morning. Glucose resistance is defined as having fasting glucose levels of 100 or higher and/or with an A1C test of 5.7 to 6.4

I found that I was indeed insulin resistant so over the last 3 months I have dropped 25 pounds by cutting out just about all grains and any kind of simple carbs. I was not really eating a lot of carbs before, but since I was insulin resistant they all turned to fat.

I am also taking timed-release Metformin with dinner and where before my fasting glucose levels were always around 100 - 105 they now average 82 - 86.

I am hoping this will allow my SHBG levels to rise.

thanks riprock....always appreciate your info!

also, I did donate blood 2 days ago after i got the hematocrit results!!! dude that needle was frickin' intimidating!!!! lol

I was the same way. It is amazing how bad heavy carbs are for certain people. I have cut them back on a keto diet and my glucose levels have greatly improved. It was around 99-102 before and now its around 89 so I am happy with that. Is that metformin something that was prescribed??

yeah rip....when I first started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) my e2 was 9. Obviously my total t was also low at 219, but I wonder how much that low e2 of 9 then, and 13 now might be playing in to my symptoms. when I was feeling great on the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was when I first started, about a month and a half in, and that was when I wasnt taking any Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Obviously my E must have raised to that "sweet spot" so to speak at some point. It was only after I started to feel slightly bloated and tired again that i re-tested my e2 sensitive. it had raised to 47 and that is when I initiated the Adex. obviously I am an Adex over-responder because .50mg every 5 days re-drove my E down to 13!!!!! only time will tell if raising that E just a little more will put me at that sweet spot again, i promise to re-test in 3 weeks and post my results!!!!

I had been reading up on Metformin and discovered that its considered by many anti-aging docs to be of benefit to almost anyone over 40 so I got some without a script to give it a try. The ER or Extended Release is the best IMHO and by the opinion of many others. My goal is to use it to help me loose another 20 pounds and then wean off of it.

The best thing that I have done is get that glucose meter. I can now easily tell how any type of carb affects my glucose, and when you are resistant, it doesn't take much to throw your levels high. Glucose meters can be expensive and the test strips even more expensive. For what its worth, I recommend a Walgreens brand meter and strips to anyone that is interested. It was literally 1/4 the cost of any other brand and it works just as good

Honestly man, I never liked the way I felt on Adex ever. I have been on aromasin for quite some time now and I feel a lot better. Like I said, some guys freak out with their E2 levels being on the high side. Everybody is different. If you feel great with your E2 at 60-70, then I wouldn't see a need in lowering it. I will say this, I have a buddy that has his E2 over 500. Yes 500 and has no symptoms of high estrogen, gyno, etc. Crazy to see for sure. You might do well on some aromasin. I dose 25mg EOD because I am estrogen sensitive, but you could start off with 12.5mg 2-3 times per week to see if that helps. I do know that adex really jacked up my liver enzymes and if you look at the side effects booklet of Adex, Liver inflammation/swelling is a side effect. Some do fine on Adex but Aromasin is a much better choice for me.

I don't know if I would call you an "over-responder" to adex. I think it is simply the case that adex is a strong drug. It doesn't take much to do its thing.

Good Info! I have read about other guys as well that say with Adex they could never really get the dose right, it was always too high or too low. aromasin sounds like a great alternative.

That has always been my deal with Adex. For awhile I was taking 0.5 twice a week and my E2 was tanked, so I switched to 0.25 twice a week and then my E2 was too high - WTF? I can't cut the pills any smaller than 1/4

newtorht.....you might wanna check into Liquidex.....it is sold by one of the board sponsors, it is for "research purposes only" so make sure you only test it on your lab rats! the dose is liquid so it can be dosed at any amount.

That is good to know, thanks! Yeah, like I say, I can only cut the Adex pills into 1/4ths and my last order came as capsules that I can't cut at all, so the Liquidex sounds like something that I should test on my lab rats.

.25 three times a week perhaps. You can also get a mortar and pestle to pulverize the pills. Then you can dose it by weight. There's always a way. :-)

My E2 seems to bounce high and low really easy. I have been low as 7 and high as 62 at the extreme, and as I recall when I was on 0.5 Adex twice a week I was at 22 and when I went to 0.25 Adex twice a week I went to 50 something. This same pattern (going too low and too high) has been happening the entire time I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I can't ever find a sweet spot.

The Aromasin suggested by riprockwell is definitely sounding like something that I should try as well.
