Im starting to going from bulking to cutting for the summer now and am going to change my routine. When I was bulking I would train 6 days a week 1 body part a day with cardio on my off day. Now I want to train only 3 days a week and do cardio the other 3 days and have one day off. I would do monday- back and tris, tueday cardio, wed- chest and bis, thur cardio, fri-legs and shoulders, sat cardio, sunday off. How does this look? What changes should I make if any? I dont want to lose to much strength so I plan on keeping my reps no more then 8 except warmups. Im also currently takeing test EQ and tren. Gonna do some DNP soon and prob clen sometime or maybe post cycle.

i would switch it so its back and bis, and chest and tris :) to avoid any overtraining, and since tris are used in chest workouts, and bis in back :)

I dont really like to do that because everytime I use to do that my second part of my workout would be half assed. Bis would be exhausted after back and I feel like I dont work them as well as I could if I did them the another day. But to be honest, I havent done that since I first started working out approx 2 years ago. plus Im on a cycle right now and tren is giving me some amazing endurance. I think Im gonna do it.

Well, if you recover fast enough (naturally and/or on cycle) then I really don't see a problem with chest/bi's and then back/tri's next session. Only issue is overtraining, which will likely come into play down the road, even if you're recovering fast enough right now.

I wouldn't recommend changing programs while on cycle, unless you know exactly what you need to be (are going to be) doing. Now, I'm natty, so I'm really only speaking from what I've always been told and read on the boards on this issue. Good luck to ya whatever you do though.

Well If I want to cut then I have to change my program. Since I train 6 days a week with one muscle per day that leaves no time for cardio. Im actually looking foward to this change since Iv been planning it for a while. Iv been doing my 6 days a week thing for over a year with only switch exersizes, not the order of muscles worked.

I have always done the same lifting routine for bulking or cutting. I dont cut but the clients i have that do we dont change a thing lifting wise. change the nutrtion and cardio. with emphasis being on nutrition. lifting weights has very little to with loosing BF. Lifting weights is for adding muscle. if it is done withut the likes of clen, t3, dnp strenght gains can continue while BF drops. patience and the right combo of hormones, if you wanna go that route, or if you natty it works as well.

I train 6 days a week as it is. Due to my schedual I have approximatly 1 hour to workout since I go after work. I do not have time to do cardio and have a good workout afterwards. This way I feel I can have both with out sacraficing to much.

some people swear by taking shorter rest between sets which allows your heart rate to stay elevated . but imo you should be able to make good progress cutting sticking with your routine and just adjusting your calories , and maybe throw in a little cardio the 7th day
