I'll be getting one as soon as I go past 405. If you're doing more than 495 or so, you've already got the core strength ......there's nothing more to prove, so why risk injury ?
ABout three months ago I stopped using a belt, mianly b/c I knew my form was wrong when pulling and squatting. So i dropped the weight, got my form straightened out, and starting increasing the weight. It has helped tremendously. But as I lift more and more over 400lbs on both, I can feel my back being a little more tight as a result. I think I may take Dawg's advice and get one just to try out that method.
some good ideas there dadawg, I'll put some consideration into it. I do have a bad lower back (nothing came up in the x rays though), but it was actually worse while I was using a belt

thanks, I love the prs, but I hate when it has to come to a stop. I'm leaving for mexico in around 3 weeks, so I want to drop the water and a few lbs of bf before then, so its time to cut the eating and heavy training back...
I shouldnt complain though, for once I hit all my strength goals before the end of a cycle, that never happens
