~NEW TO INJECTING~ Whats the safest place to AVOID a vein?

I posted in another thread that i accidentaly injected into my vein (that wasnt a fun day to say the least... i had to go to the hospital.) My question is...

1) What is the safest place to inject to avoid a vein? I know one should ALWAYS aspirate to see if you pull any blood in the plunger. ALot of people say the buttox.. Why?. less "major" veins?

2) my joints are more sensitive/sore than usual. Is this normal? what should i take for this?

3) what is the "post therapy" for a cycle of testorone Cypionate? and when should i start taking it? (right after my last injection? a week after it?)

4) As stated above im taking Testosterone Cypionate... Is there a "better" test that doesnt convert to estrogen as much? If i were to take Test, which one should i be taking? and why?

Sorry for all the noob questions but if there is a place to ask these questions this would be the place

Thanks in advance

I would like to start by saying you should have done alot more research before you started your cycle my man. You live and learn though its too late for that so lets stick to the topic.

I'm almost sure you didnt hit a vein. Symptoms of that are a bit different, so dont stress it so much. Just be sure to aspirate. I'd have to say glutes are the safest injection site, but i'm no scholar in anatomy.

Whats your test c cycle look like, how long are you running at what dose?

Test is test man. Plain and simple. E, C, and P.

Maybe some else will chime in on joint pain. My joints actually feel better on cycle. Everyones different though.

hey Jake House, Why do you say i should have done alot more research before starting my cycle... and you say "its too late for that?"

Its primarily for Testosterone Replacement Therapy because i have very low testosterone

Im doing 200mg Test cypionate a week for 12 weeks.

EDIT: so what are the symptoms of injecting test into my vein accidentaly?

why only for 12 weeks? testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is for life you dont cycle it.

Also test is test, the only difference is the ester attached to it that determines the half life.

As for where to pin.... i use my quads. its easier since its right in front of me. i alternate sides every time. there is no better spot to avoid a vein... just aspirate and check before injecting. that's really all there is to it. ive yet to pull back and get blood when aspirating and ive pinned many many times already.

TRT is not a cycled thing to start! As for where to inject Glutes or thighs are most common place can also be safely done in the shoulders though I personaly use Glutes and thighs!

As for The Test Cyp is great as well as Test E almost Identical in comparison! Dont expect to get results as we do in a so called cycle as 200mg wont do much if any thing at all as far as that goes!

Google IM Injections there are lots of illustrations of exactly where to inject! As a general rule for the glutes. Put your for finger on your hip bone reach your thumb as far back on your glute as possible and stick it! This will keep you from hitting the siatic nerve!

True testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) does not require PCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But if your intrested in learning a corret post cycle therapy (pct) read DETOAKS post cycle therapy (pct) sticky in the anabolics forum

Hope this gives you some direction

With a little research, many of these questions would be answered for you. Its just quite obvious you've done little research. It's a bit late because you've already started your cycle.

Is this testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) recommended/ doctor prescribed? Whats your stats? Age, weight, cycle history, training history etc? Did blood work determine low test levels? If so where were your levels at?

From my understanding, and from personal experience, injecting into a vein results in coughing accompanied by an extremely strange taste. Your issue sounds more like an anxiety issue. There is a medical term, just cant think of it off hand. If I remember correct, someone said it on your last post. It has all the same symptoms you described.

You guys suggesting quads need to realize who your audience is with this question. Quads are ok but please include a good diagram or some links to show how to do it. This guy hits the wrong spot in his quads and he is going to be in a world of pain and hurt!

IMo glutes are probably the best bet for a new guy learning followed by delts. If you are really thin forget I said delts :)

Good advise Zeek I will go do the reasearch for the CHILDREN BRB with a diagram

the post cycle therapy (pct) (if you were on a cycle) would be clomid 50/50/50/50 and nolva 40/40/20/20 2-3 weeks after last inject for cyp.

get some osteo bi-flex or glucosomine if your joints are hurting, it might help

Talked to an Er doctor buddy today and asked about delts. He said in his opinion delts are the best bet for most people who aren't just ridiculously skinny. Just have to use the right length needle. Any medically knowledgable people have an opinion? I've never pinned them myself always quads and glutes.

I'm not medically knowledgeable, but I use my Delts. I use a 25g 5/8". I wouldn't recommend more than 1cc, I find they hurt less than the quads. I have never hit a nerve but I have nicked a blood vessel or two. Easiest thing is to go in slow and be patient.

What I do is put my elbow at 90degree and prop my arm on the counter then go straight into the delt. finish injection and leave the needle in place for 15 to 30 sec remove and then massage.

The pic shows the injection spot a little more towards the back, or center of the delt, I actually do it a little bit forward from that spot

1/2" needles are fine, 5/8" will do too. 1" will also work, but I wouldn't go all the way in, and I wouldn't go with longer than 1".

Give insulin pins a shot if you're doing 1cc or less shots. The 28ga pins will cause less scar tissue than a 25ga, and the pin mark is basically unnoticeable. You may have to load them from the rear depending on how thick your oil is.
