If u dont have equipment, get yourself a pull-up bar and a set of dumbells..Hmm what the heck is HIIT??

you got to pace yourself dont try to kill yourself from the get go you have to let your body adapt to the punishment. As for exercises you could do. diamond push-ups, normal push-ups( you can play around by moving the placement of your hands to work all three heads of your triceps) for your abs , cruches, bicycles, twisting crunches, leg raises, reverse crunches. man the posibilities are endless.

Then do walking for an 45 to an hour a day, start with something you can do successfully. That and diet will get you started.

i agree...start with a simple walk, build from there...all the die hard training splits, and insane poundages discussed here....i venture to say none of us did these on day 1. gotta walk before you crawl

yea.. been readin here for a while but then i just couldn't do it i guess.. so now i'm askin for ur help. can u guys explain to me in details like the stuff that u just posted? i don't kno half of wat u just sed. thanks

thats all you need for now hubba, when an hour a day of walking is easy....work some jogging in.

as far as diet goes, its simple....drop the carbs, and up the protein. figure what you eat now...and alter it, but alter it slowly so you dont get burned out too quickly.......if you dont know how to drop carbs and up protein....look at the nutritional stats on the food package and add or subtract.

have a sit down one night and get it all on paper, then follow.

good luck

crap. so, it's all carbs that i have to lose? how much do i have to lose? uhh, daily intake?? i don't know. sorry.

i do pace my self. i think. well, i'm pretty weak so i started off with 2x10 pushups and 1x5 diamonds. i'll see if i can up it to another set next week.

as far as jogging, i'm going to do it again tomorrow and the next 2 days probably the same length again. i might also buy some weights later but i'm not sure yet.

thanks again!

Wait, why are you jogging? You should be doing sprints.

yea, i jogged for 2 minutes and sprinted for 20 secs.
first, i jogged for 1 min. then sprinted for 10 then did it again. i know it's nothing but i did my best.

Actually, it would probably be better if you jogged for 100 meters then sprinted for 100 meters. Or walking 100 meters then sprinting 100m. Just make sure you warm up and stretch before sprinting...it's very rough on the legs. Keep in mind that sprinting is a muscle building exercise - jogging is not. Just look at the bodies of sprinters vs. distance runners.

problem is though, i don't have the stamina to do that. i thought that if i got myself used to jogging/sprinting, then i could that easily later on, right? but i'll try that.

Well you dont want to kill yourself, there is NOTHING wrong with walking, if Ronnie does it so can you. I love walking, its very easy on the body and you wont burn yourself out doing it. If you only last for 3 minutes versus an hour of walking, I would say again go with walking. You could do a walk for 5 minutes and a 30 second spring if you would like to try that, but I'm banking on that being tough too.

I like things that spare LBM and walking is one of them, HIIT is great but I'd save that for later. Do something you can stick to and do successfully.

The way to improve it is to do it and just do better each time you do it.

if you only jogged 2 minutes last time, dont bother trying it again...walk, walk, walk...you need to be in motion at least 25 min.....constantly, no stoppin to rest. if you cant jog it walk it.

so jogging and walking is not bad? i thought if i jogged, i have to keep jogging and not stop to walk..?

question:
how long would it take me to lose 1% bodyfat? can i do it in a day?

How's he going to get better if he's not even running because he can't for a given period? He has to improve somehow.

Sprinting several times is going to burn more calories than walking for 25 minutes.
