100mg is a reasonable place to start. To keep your testicles from shrinking you will need to add HCG to your protocol. Any dose sufficient to suppress your endogenous production will likely cause shrinkage over time. With 100mg/week I think .25mg anastrozole per week could be a good starting point. You may not need it, or you may need a bit more. You would probably be ok starting out without AI on 100mg/week, though it partly depends on your body composition. I assume at 282 lbs you have a fair amount of bodyfat?

It would also be a good idea to sound out the MD about his approach.... some will have a stated goal of just getting you within normal range. Some will shoot for midrange. Some will want you in the upper quartile and want you to feel good.
The super-conservative starting dose that your physician is suggesting makes me worry that he is in the first group - that will make it more of an uphill battle to reach levels that make the whole undertaking worthwhile.

Yes fair amount but not sloppy i dont look that heavy at all know what I mean? I think he will work with me, he was all for me dosing myself and willing to prescribe the Test Cyp. From more reading and feedback i am worrying about this estrogen stuff now as well

No need to worry, fortunately the tools to manage it are readily available these days. There are kind of two basic approaches:

1) taylor your T dose to where your estrogen is in a healthy range without AI. On a lower dose you may not need to donate blood either, and effects on lipids and liver values will be minimized. Of course, you might give up some of the benefits of higher T levels in terms of libido and body composition, but this is an entirely rational approach.

2) get your T level as high as therapeutically justifiable, and taylor your AI dose to keep E2 under control. You may have to donate blood to control hct, and any undesirable side effects like acne and adverse effects on lipid profile, etc. will probably be a bit more likely.
