Nightly toilet visits + hunger attacks

Hey guys. I will make it simple.

Over the last 2 months I wake up every night at 4am (+-20 minutes) with a massive boner and need to go to the toilet. This literally pisses me off, as my sleep is like the most important thing to me. But not only that, secondly I pass the kitchen on my way to the toilet and my brain starts giving me the signals to eat - and it always ends up with 5 slices of protein bread + peanut butter + honey.

Funny thing to mention' tried to eat carbs right before bed, limited the water and stuff - but no response. My died consists of clean food with some cheats when my body craves for something. So I would call it healthy/balanced regarding the sports we perform. second funny thing - visited my parents for 2 days now, ate cakes, fast food and drank a few cocktails. But during these nights when I ate the so called bullshit, I slept through the whole night

I´m not on AAS or something else, tried to google my problem and didn´t find any information. Google only told me to have a look at my organ clock (related to chinese medicine). No idea wheter this has some scientific background given there but my problem persists and I am literally freaking out because in the morning, or even immediately after my hunger attacks, I feel completely guilty.

BTW I wake up at 4AM as already mentioned + 6AM but without the hunger.

Will see the doctor soon, but I hope you can give me some thoughts or constructive input.

Cheerio, have a great day community :)

Two things come to mind: the first being a high glucose level causing you to have to urinate and then getting hungry. Both are common with pre-diabetics as well as full blown cases of the disease. I'd get an a1c done with your doctor to rule that out.

The second that comes to mind is a possible prostatitis issue, which is common with folks in their 30's on up. That doesn't explain hunger, but it's possible that you awaken enough for your liver to stop putting a hold on your metabolism, making you hungry. That too can be ruled out with a physician.

Lastly, you may have an internal clock problem caused by external factors that can mess with sleep, but that may require a consult with a specialist - including ruling out sleep apnea.

My .02c :)

go to doc.. but also i rec have protein drink made in fridge and when you go pee take a few chugs of it and go back to bed, will help dull hunger and add a lil protein..

The thing is that it has now become a habit so your body is expecting that boost of peanut butter and honey at such time. Break the habit use your will power and take that swig of protein drink or a glass Of milk or water then hit the sack, as far as the boner situation well, you do have your girlfriend/wife/laptop next to you right?
