No sucess bulkin up

www.fitday.com...Easto thanks alot thats been a big help so far...I've been forcing myself to eat at least every 2 hrs for the last 4 days. I've bumped my daily intake to 4500cal per day...Suprisingly I put on a few pounds already. I guess that could just be due to the fact my body constantly has food flowing through me though. I do have another question at this point now. I want to start using gear, I know I'm not at the point to start yet. How much longer should I wait before starting...should I have been in weight training a specific amount of time, or should I wait till I've gained X amount of weight?

You need to hit some heavy whipping cream, dude. I was having trouble breaking 195 lbs this january... I started drinking a quart of that every day, and I broke right through it =)

what?

Use whipping cream if you plan to be a fat ass. Breaking 195 lbs.?
I was 195 lbs. when I was 12. Just Joking

Here is a good protein shake that will add calories, protein, and some good fats to your diet.

2 Cups of Milk
2-3 Scoops Whey (Chocolate)
1 Banana
Huge spoonful of Natty Peanut Butter

Throw this is the blender and chug it down 3 times per day :D

holy shit. i did the same shit as you. but i did it so much that im so sick of it now i wanna puke just tjinkin about it.

but yea, thats a great bulking drink and you can even add some icecream to that.

If you weigh 150lbs you should be getting at least 250-300 grams of protien a day. Are you? Would you guys say protien or calories are more important? I guess a mix of both.

defintley both. i think for gaining weight calories might be teeny tiny bit more important because all those weight gainers are loaded with calories.

progress

I'd like to report that since 5/29 I've been eating 5000cal a day and after aprox a month I gained back the 5lbs I had lost and gained another 5lb. Which now puts me just above 160lbs. Thanks for the help guys, I seem to be progressing good now!!

I've been drinking 2 shakes a day w/ 1500 cal per shake. that accounts for over 1/2 my calorie intake. The other 2000 I get from 3 solid meals a day. Its amazingly simple...I cant believe I had trouble taking in this many calories before. It really all comes down to planning ahead.

i have trouble gainnig weigt aswell, but i throw in some homemade gainer shakes ehre and there w\honey and milk and natty pb and that gives me a nice boost. Also i take a pm shake as well. I eat 6 meals a day also. Up the weight you are lifting and lower the reps that will put on size real nice.

and throw in some creatine that will help as well

My bulk diet looks something like this (yesterday):

Total calories: 7300
Fat: 425 3823 53%
Sat: 208 1874 26%
Poly: 35 316 4%
Mono: 152 1371 19%
Carbs: 505 1876 26%
Fiber: 36 0 0%
Protein: 388 1550 21%

My point? Stetch your stomach and eat! If you don't push your eating, then you'll never be able to eat a lot.

Take some digestive enzymes and betaine HCl with meals to make sure you're digesting your food, too. It doesn't matter how many grams of protein you're eating if you're not digesting it.

2 gallons of whole milk a day, along with at least a pound of beef. I get my milk from a local farmer, so it's not pasturized or anything. Much cheaper and easier than eating the equivalent calories in meat. Add in some other good things like eggs, potatoes, etc. The point is just making sure you push the limits so you can eat more the next day. Eventually you'll just get to the point where you can maintain huge amounts of muscle while eating a comfortable amount (but it would seem like a crazy amount of food NOW).

Anyone ever see that one eating contest where there was this 130 lb Japanese guy that entered? There were these like 300 lb fat-ass American guys, and this little Japanese guy ate 50 hotdogs and buns in something like 20 minutes and totally blew the fat guys away. That's 12,000 calories in one sitting.

So don't tell me you can't eat enough ;)

I envey you guys who can get the whey protein and powdered stuff...

I moved to China and it is almost impossible to get a suppy of this, and if you can it is so high priced...

I am drinking around 20 eggs a day (not all whole)

I find its the cheapest way of getting the calories....

Eggs, milk powder (as much as you can bear) and as little icecream as to take away the taste plus milk to mix it up....

I pour it into a thermal Flask and take it to work...
