Nolvadex during cycle or only post? I keep getting conflicting statements...

I was told to use Nolvadex during cycle by my friends. Then I got ripped apart for saying I was going to do so in the forums. That it is not an AI and to use Aromas instead. Then I see this: steroidology.com/forum/anabolic-steroid-forum/111479-massive-newbie-info.html

Opinions or facts please? I really want to make sure I do my cycle properly. I have read a LOT and keep researching. I just find so many conflicting statements.

I read Ology, and really grow tired of people throwing that out as a fix all. It's not that hard to answer someone if you know the information. Instead everyone posts a link to dig through scientific information. I have read it. I digested as much as I could. Now, I ask a question. It's a simple question:

What's YOUR opinion on using Nolvadex during cycle?

Interesting how the Ology states it should not be used, but a sticky post on this same forum states completely different opinions:

As to why i asked for yours, but I guess yours is only based on what you read in the Ology post, and you have no opinion otherwise of your own. If so, noted and thank you. Anyone else that has their own opinions or advise, other then what is posted in the two threads listed already... I would value what you think.

It isn't a fix all, but many guys get tired of answering the same questions over and over again. We encourage guys to start by reading the sticky threads because they cover a lot of the basics. 90% of your questions can often be answered by reading the stickies? Are they perfect? No. There is some outdated and conflicting information in some of the threads. But nonetheless, they are a good starting place.

So now to your question. The short answer is that with how you have your cycle laid out, I would recommend that you run Nolva on your cycle to help prevent Gynecomastia. Raloxifene would be an even better choice (which you learned about in the sticky provided to you earlier).

Long answer: I normally would not recommend a SERM on cycle unless you are gyno prone or don't know how to manage estradiol. But since you are choosing to not manage estradiol as your cycle lacks an aromatase inhibitor, a SERM is the next best thing. But please don't read this the wrong way. I would definitely prefer to see you use an Aromatase Inhibitor (Arimidex or Aromasin) instead. A SERM will only help prevent gyno. However high estrogen can cause a lot of problems in addition to gyno.

I think you need to do a lot more reading. Hiram gave you a great place to start. Try to understand what you are doing when you run a cycle rather than asking guys to spoon feed you. Or do you expect us to lift the weights for you too?

By the way, there are other problems with your cycle. EQ is a longer ester than Test E. Think is makes sense to stop them both at the same time to allow them to clear for PCT?

Why no hCG?

Why no clomid to go along with the Nolva in PCT?

Do you have strategies in place for lowering hematocrit?

For an AI I am using LiquiAromas, but my order has been delayed.. so again I did not list it.

Thanks for the concern, and I have read the Ology through and through. It still reads a little like Chinese stereo instructions, but I am learning. I just don't want to post I am taking something until I have it and am sure it is part of my cycle.

List what your full cycle WILL be. Wait until you have everything in your hands before starting.

What about hCG? You didn't respond to that.

What about hematocrit. You didn't respond to that

This is not correct. I just explained to you that they have different esters. Why would you not take the esters into consideration when timing their last dose so they have enough time to clear your body before PCT starts? Do you understand how esters work? If not, you need to ask.

What parta of the Ology FAQs thread do you not understand? If you have questions you should ask them. If there is a study in there that doesn't make sense for example, ask about it.

i personally dont like running a serm for estrogen control on cycle.. adex is much better..

and you need clomid for pct.. always run clomid..

and as tron said, hcg on cycle will make recovery much much easier
