Nolvadex promotes liver damage? or not

ok so I was reading an article in the New England Journal of Medicine today on Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. They stated as one of the risk factors/causes Tamoxifen (right up there with cocaine). I never knew Nolvadex was liver toxic? Is it? I'm wondering because I take a lot of the shit, I will use it throughout my cycles so as not to get gyno and for the supposed cholesterol benefits. Some of these articles are based on biased research, so let me know if this is completely bogus, thanks

that same outfit said that steroids do not increase muscle mass and strength. i read the article on another board, it was hilarious. this is supposed to be one of the most prestigious journals medicine has to offer and they print bullshit like this. =0)

Actually, I belive i recall seeing some studies that showed long term nolva usage is liver toxic and is a carcinogen... I will see if I can find them.

Any foreign substance introduced to the system and taken on a long term basis is PROBABLY going to be detrimental to your health in some way. That's just common sense. Of course...there may be exceptions!

so then how safe is Nolvadex on a daily throughout cycle basis? I heard of this being advocated for lipid levels and obviously for prevention of gyno so I have been using it throughout cycle not just for PCT.

It's probably ok in relatively short term use - though constant long term use 1.5-2+ years may be toxic. though, thats not to say if you take 40mg of nolva a day for 2 years your chance of liver cancer goes up 200% - there just isnt enough research on this.
