Normal Dosage Versus Low Dosage for first cycle

Hows it going y'all! This is my first post on here after months of researching. I've learned a lot from you guys and I know I still have a WHOLE lot more to learn and I didn't want to post a stupid thread. Hopefully this isn't one but I just can't find any info concerning this topic.

I'm wondering what yall's opinion is on this subject. I'm planning my first cycle and I'm still researching like crazy but I can't seem to find any good sources (credible more knowledgeable user comments) on this topic. What is yall's opinion of taking a lower dosage for your first cycle? So for example normally you take around 500mg weekly of test e. Instead of the 500mg dosage you take 300 mg weekly for your first cycle. I've read some reviews that say you'll have just as good gains and so forth from a lower dose as you would from a normal dose because its a new compound to your body. Kinda like taking vyvanse for the first time or something like that.
Thanks in advance for all y'alls advice! (If you cant tell I'm from Texas lol)

Welcome. (From Texas as well, no place better)

You can run a low dose and still as you said achieve amazing results. The main problem with running them too low, as in getting close to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) levels, is that you will be shutting yourself down for a dose that your body already (if not at least gets close to producing) produces naturally. 300mg is above a typical testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose but still fairly close. I would be more inclined to say if you want to start lower for whatever reason maybe go with 400mg, or maybe 350mg.

Is there a reason you want to start lower? Is it a matter of worrying about sides or just financial? Both understandable.

Either way, whatever dose you choose you still will be able to see how your body reacts to the test.

Well...the smart thing about that is that you will learn a lot about how you and your body respond and react to evaluated test levels. You will be able to find where your sweet spot for Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dosage is ( although you will probably have to adjust this with an increased dosage of test)....., what to expect for estrogen related sides, and you will also learn the it doesn't take a lot of extra test to shut you down....you will have to do a proper PCT regardless....make sure that you have ALL of your Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and PCT gear on hand BEFORE you start...

Its Recommended To Take 500Mg Per Week On FirSt Cycle, 300Mg/Wk Is Just Over A testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Dosage So Most Would Advise Against Shutting Down Your Natural tesT FoR 300/Wk.U May Or May Not See Gains At Such A Dose, Thise Would Depend On Ur Current T Levels, Bloodwork Would Be The Only Way To Know For Sure.

I'm not necessarily going to start lower, simply looking into every course of action and seeing which one is the best option for me. I wouldn't be doing it because of money simply put, if I'm already going to spend the money to get that much might as well go all the way. Sides are one reason and another would be to learn how my body reacts. Main reason I'm asking is just to inform myself as to why people think it's better over the normal dosage of 500mg for a cycle or vice versa. Not saying either is wrong right just trying to inform myself to form my own opinion of it.

Either way you will learn everything you need to know. Main difference is one dose will put you at what your body is already close to producing (depending on you of course as everyone is different.), and the other will be well above. As I said earlier, it's not really worth shutting myself down (imho) for something I'm already producing. The risk of being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is always there. Not worth risking it for what I already have. Never a guarantee that post cycle therapy (pct) will bring you through.
