Im going to replace squats with deadlifts as my lower back has been damaged over the years due to baf posture. Ive been diagnosed wiyh anterior plevic tilt and I findnit very painful to do squats due to it. Is this alright for a few months? I always have shit workouts after squats as it strains my lower back.

Not really sure how giving up squats and adding dead lifts is going to help alleviate stress on your lower back. My lower back is taxed a bit furring both exercises, but definitely more so with deads. Deads hit several muscle groups, but it's predominantly a back exercise. Squats hit several as well but obviously more for legs. So I don't know how dropping squats and replacing it with a back exercise is going to be as productive for leg development. I do both, on different days. Could you try a variation of squats that may not hit your back so much? Front BB squats, Hack squats, or sissy squats? None of these are as effective as back Bb squats IMO, but better then nothing.

I have no lower back pain when doing deads as I primarily use my legs with the movement. The deadlift works more of my lower body than the upper.

You obviously don't know much about exercise science if you think its predominantly a back exercise

Its a full posterior chain exercise but depending on how you do them you can put more focus on the back i.e. rack deads. Anyways, I read a good article from t-nation a few days ago - search t-nation "trouble with the tilt." You may find some answers/help in that article. Sorry I can't post the URL but I'm on an iPad and basically its a piece of shit.

You're obviously a prick, if you are going to insult some one that took time to read your post and respond.

not trying to be rude with that post.......just pointing out that if you're going to state something that you should at least research it before posing it.

I usually initiate and finish it off with my legs as using my back strains the shit out of my lower back. I do engage the forearms and traps throughout the whole movement though
