Not feeling good?

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 12 days now guys. This is using Testo-Gel 50mg tubes a day and I self medicated myself with Test Cyp @ 50mg per shot twice a week. So I now feel more anxious then when I started, lightheaded....Just overall a strange but not nice feeling. The only good part is my confidence has gone up a bit.

Why am I feeling like this?

Paul, it's hard to say without a blood test to go off of. Personally I would not use two different methods of Testosterone. It's going to be very difficult to get your hormone levels exactly where you want them with both. Gels suck IMO and can be very unpredictable after a few months.

Stick with the test injections they can be very easy to dial in and work great long term.
Not sure what your starting test levels were but I'd suggest injecting once every 5 days.

Thanks for the fast reply DJ ;)

As I am in the UK they only did the one blood test to see where I was at. The range for Testosterone for my age (37) is between 8.5 - 30.7......Mine was 10.7, so on the low side. I was then referred to a Urologist who put me on the Gel. He said he did not prescribe injectables so I said I had read that Gels were not that good, he said they worked very well.....Anyway I took matters in my own hands and got some Test Cyp. The Urologist said I did not need any Aromatase inhibitor (AI) yet my nipples are already sore, so I got some Arimidex yet I am to nervous to take it as I dont want my anxiety to get any worse and keep thinking an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) may make it worse yet reading reviews on Males using AI's they say it helps anxiety.......I was put on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) due to lack of confidence and anxiety.

So two different types of Test maybe what is causing me to feel anxious and weird.....Part of me is thinking my E2 levels maybe high thus giving me anxiety as my Test levels will be going up so I think my natural E2 levels will be going up with it?

I am not getting good erections and have not been for a few years now, I was hoping the Test would help that. I am also doing the Test Cyp via SQ using an insulin pin and injecting into my abdominal area as read that SQ shots are as good as IM shots??

I just want to feel normal and be able to feel confident, less anxious and be able to get good erections as it is not good for a 37 year old 6ft 211lb 14%bf Male to not be able to get erections!!

Wow. A lot going on here. I don't think many people here do SQ shots. Testosterone is testosterone, the only difference between all of them is what the testosterone is suspended in. This also determines the half life, thus how often it you need to administer. Self medicating can be bad for a few reasons.
1) not legal
2) may not be able to get again
3) may not be the same as last time
4) may be a fake
5) your Dr will think the cream is working just fine.

Blood work is the only way to know for sure what levels you are at.

Don't forget that your nads are going to shut down without Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) or LH of some sort.

If it was me, I would just take what the Dr. prescribed and be insistant to test for E2, total T, free T. That is at the very least. I wish you luck, I'm just afraid that your going to complicate things.
