STRENGTH AND HONOR
Hello gang I have a question about oates. Is there any particular brand or style that I should be eating. I mean I totally understand how beneficial there are to your diet, but how do I chose which one, whole oates, quick oates, Quakers oates, instant oates, old fashion oates, steel cut oates, Hall and Oates......etc. etc. Help!!!!!!

All plain oats are the same nutritionally whether they're rolled, quick, instant, etc., you'd do fine with Quaker. Works for me.:)

Actually, old fashioned style are typically whole oats while the "instant" have had the husk removed; lowering the fiber content considerably. As the purpose of consuming oats is for their fiber content, I'd stick with "old fashioned style" or "whole oats". You can read the nutrition information on the back to see the differences and make an informed decision on which is best next time you're at the store.
