oatmeal shake

Just passing this along to anyone who doesn't already make them
Chocolate-peanutbutter-oatmeal shake
put 12oz of water and some ice in a blender (skim milk optional)
add chocolate protein powder(as many scoops as desired at least 50g
add 1 cup of uncooked old fashioned oatmeal(sell at costco 9lbs for $9
add 1 tbsp all natural(the kind you have to stir)peanut butter

blend it about a minute on a very fast setting Enjoy!

For anyone who has never tried this, this is the shitnick: :40oz:
 
uncooked oatmeal? is that good for you? wouldnt it absorb all the water in your stoumach leaving you with a horrible tummy ache?
 
I do something like this.

But I throw the oatmeal in by itself first and blend until it turns into a powder. It mixes better that way.
 
i do this but it doesnt taste good. The oats dont disolve no matter how long i leave it in the blender for. Doesnt that bother u guys, im gagging it down because i can feel the small peices of oats going down my throat.
 
If you add milk instead of water and a little olive oil it comes out to 1000 cal. and 80 gr. of protein. This is a GREAT meal replacement if you are in a hurry. Don't leave it very long, you'll come back to a THICK mess.
 
GREAT site Guys!!! I'm 5'6" @ #275-280, 12% bf. 46 years old and in the BEST shape of my life. Been lifting for 32 years. Feel free to ask anything, I've been around the block a time or two, not saying I know much at all, but I am decent sized, and used to be a HARD gainer.

I tried this oatmeal shake with banana and whey protein (chocolate) and it was good. Excellent preworkout and postworkout if adding some dextrose.
