Oats or Rice?

One more thing. I did some searching and couldn't find it. I've seen you mention the number of individuals you train, and their results, and such. And I won't ask if the majority of them are assisted or not. But I would like to know what you see as the biggest difference between an assisted athlete's traning/diet protocol and that of one that is natural.

I'm of the opinion that the assisted athlete is simply able to make greater gains from workout to workout. And can also recover faster to allow for more training sessions. But if there is anything else diet wise, or training, I'd love to hear your opinion.

Sorry to all for veering off the topic.

Dirk, why does the media say that milk is healthy for kids? You mentioned that your kids benefited from not drinking milk?

I don't know if I see "news organizations" pushing it more dairy interest groups.

Let me put this question to you - What other living animal drinks milk past the infant stages??

Girth what type of whey are you using? Have you changed up your shake from one company to another to see if its something in that paticular brand?

As for your question - Go to the members picture forum. There is pictures in there. Do a search under my name.

As for your question on natural - I would say that in terms of competitors 10% are natural on average. As for everyone else it is just the opposite.

If all things are equal with diet / training / drive / genetics then recovery plays a part but the elevated hormone levels causes growth of muscle or fat loss to occur faster.

I'm using Animal's protein. Have been for some time. So long that I can't remember when/if there was any difference with another brand. As prior to Animal's it was TP's whey I used.

I must have conveyed the wrong message, as I don't need to see the pics of your clients to ensure the validity of your advice. I was simply more interested in your take on the biggest difference, if there is one, between the advice given to assisted and non-assisted athletes.

I had to post in this thread, because as I've said, my brain gets in the way. Kind of why I spend most of my time at Animal's site. I got to a point where I'd read everything, thought I knew quite a bit, then began to question everything I thought I knew. In that process, I began to lose sight of results. I was more interested in why something worked, and not if it actually DID work.

I recalled seeing a few of your posts, and agreeing with your general take on things. So I started reading more and more of them over the past couple weeks. I like how you focus on the whole picture, and not the minutiae of what to do when. I think you even stated at one point that you are making BB fit into your life, and not trying to make your life work with your BB goals.

Just wanted to say thanks, as I think you've perhaps gotten me back from the deep end of the pool.
