Oil is really hard to draw/inject

Useless

I'm using a 25g needle to draw and an 18g needle to inject. It takes a couple of minutes to draw the oil and a little while to inject. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

You've got it backwards. In other words...you're doing it wrong. Or should I say what she says...wrong hole.

Draw with 18g, pin with 25g.

Ouch!!! Your pinning with an 18g!!! Ya u have it backwards. If the 25g is to hard, try a 23g. I prefer the 23g

wow my man wrong approach draw with the lower gage and inject with the higher. i suggest to always change pins and never inject with the drawing pin..

Be careful with drawing using an 18, it can break small pieces off the rubber stopper and have them sink into your vial. Get 22's for drawing and yeah, use the 25 to pin. It's going to take some time injecting with a 25, which isn't so bad - cuts down on scar tissue and pip.

Heat up the oil using some boiled water before hand too. Apart from making it a "smoother" injection, you'll notice drawing/pinning to be easier.

Are you storing your gear in a cold place such as a garage? I normally run the bottle under hot water to get the oil a little warmer, that will make drawing and shooting easier. I also draw with 18g and pin with 25g.

I made this thread late at night and got it backwards, I inject with a 25g needle. 18g would be way too painful!

You shouldnt be having any trouble drawing your gear through an 18g pin. Is the gear at room temp? If not, then you need to warm it up a little bit.

Ah yes, 18g would hurt like a mofo. I have a friend that was saving money using 18g to draw/pin. Ouch. I can't imagine why 18g wouldn't draw smooth. All of the oils I've used all pulled easily through 18g.

I like to pull and pin with either a 21g or 23g depending on location. Depending on how much gear you're using it should take a minute or two. Inject shouldn't take longer than 30-45 seconds. This is based on my personal experience
