When converting tren does it matter about the oil that goes up the filter is this just considered waste ? Also when I filter it through the coffe filter does it hurt it to use a whatman after that and then just purge off the whatman ?

Ok F that question...
Does it matter if I filter it through the whatman more than once ? Although I dont think I am , its a little cloudy which I think is just cosmetic. I think Im going to do two baking sessions 15mins a piece putting it in the freezer after each one.

I am sure you know this, but if you take a bottle out of the hot oven, and put it in the freezer....it will break!

not being ugly but the questions you have are already answered in here some where if you'll do some reading. i understand what you are saying but you dont is the problem. please dont make any gear til you know what you are doing. you could end up with a bad infection. you can die worse case senerio.

I think I may just be over reacting because it was my first time. A couple buds of mine came over last night. I walked them through my process and they gave me some pointers but said everything I did was ok. Its just wierd I think not to have the instruction in person for something like that. but it looks like we're ok now. Thou still feeling like alittle bit of a retard. But hey if its ok Im ok....Now cant wait to use it....:)

Just to kinda clarify things a little...
I was being very sterile what I was trying to do was have the least amount of loss over the coarse of the conversion. I know its ok to filter twice, and about the oil going up the sides of the coffe filter I was looking for ways not to have so much waste. In the end I am happy with what came out. I have now learned if using a coffee filter during the process it can help to wet the filter with sterile oil, not the whole thing just a little before. That way what has seeped up may be just oil and less of the good stuff. I meant fridge instead of freezer, but thanks guys for all your inputs. Hey gotta start somewhere. I was as sterile as I could be and learned a lot. I just was trying not to have a loss that was huge I think its fine, no junk in it and good color...So we'll c...

guess you were making TA from pellets. back when i used to use pellets i didnt use a coffee filter. after the pellets dissolved (about 10 minutes with heat) i added oil, shake very well, put back on heat and it will seperate in about 15 minutes. the gunk fillers will be stuck to the bottom so you draw off gold filter one time with a .45 then heat sterilize. you good to go. the litttle bit of gold left at the bottom of the orinal vial can be saved for next time. you end up with little or no waste.

you also said " I have now learned if using a coffee filter during the process it can help to wet the filter with sterile oil, not the whole thing just a little before".

sterile oil is not needed for this. and also the fridge is nt needed if you bake it for an hour at 250f. aspirate the vial and let cool naturally before IM.
