but i have a question

when you go down while deadlifting, are my quads supposed to be close to parallel with the floor at the bottom of the lift?

the way i've been deadlifting, my legs bend only slightly but i guess i've been doing them wrong?

can anyone give me pointers or post some pictures?

There are many ways to execute a DL, many people go wide (sumo) but it doesn't seem to work for me as a tall guy. Maybe with practice but for now I pull my feet in a tad more than a squat, so I bend my knees plenty.

it all depends on how you are built, the text book form does not work well for long lanky guys, for these guys the best way to pull is with a style inbetween conventional and straight leg.
