The combo of the oil and protein (I'm assuming we're talking whey here) is not bad at all. I have used two of those a day at times both offseason and contest prep. My choice of timing is a little different, but I know folks who advocate that for slower release throughout the night. I use natty PB before bed instead.

i assume the same goes for pb?

cuz i really cant get enough of tasty pb...i also use peanut butter (yeah...good value brand) at night

thanks guys, i think i read somwehre that (dc) likes to throw in olive oil in the early daytime shakes to slow up a little.

thanks for the advice

Hey Kosher, you mean in terms of oxidizing for the pb? I need to find the study again that compared the various sources of 3s, 6s, etc and their rate of conversion. I do remember that flax was much higher in rate than I would have expected, along with cod liver oil.

yeah id like to see that if you can find it

i have a lot of cla, olive oil, and pb...i'm fairly ignorant when it comes to which ess fatty acids are in what, and to what ratio
