Opening HCG Amples

I used to have a liitle tool to open Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) ampules. Now I dont... How do you guys open these liitle ampules without breaking them. I feel like they will snap or crush under the load of trying to snap the liitle top off.

just bite it with your teeth, that way if you have any pain from your shot it will be masked by the pain in your mouth! On a more serious not, i use an amp opener i bought really cheep. if you dont want to go that route, just take some scissors and spin it around the amp so it cuts a consistent line around it. after a few spins it comes off easily.

score around the edge with something sharp, it'll break much easier

Invest in an amp opener next time you order pins/syringes.

a file or nail file will work fine. You should get an amp opener as they are dirt cheap and save the hassle.
