P 90 x?

Hey guys/gals,

Just got a question about steriods and working out. I'm doing this P 90X regemie (2nd time) and was wondering what would be the effect of taking some gear while doing this workout. I always here about steriods and weight lifting/cardio, but P 90 X is mostly training with bands/chin ups and a shit load of cardio which eccentially rips/leans you out with little muscle building. Would it be a waste of time? Or would I see gains?

i hear good things too-a guy i know followed the program-big part is diet- and he went from 300lbs to a good 220 in 6 months

not sure of your experience level, but if your sticking with just bands, you're short changing yourself. Get you some dumbells. There is alot of resistance work in P90X.

I feel its the best workout of its type out there (infomercial style). Its basically just CrossFit style essentially.

As for gear use with it, its just like anything as DPR stated above. You eat right, and do gear, while using weights and cardio, you'll make good gains. Not normal gains most talk about, but i have no doubt you won't gain something. The question is, based on your experience of course, do you need gear in the first place?

What are your stats?

Hey man,

My stats:

27 yrs
220 lbs
5'11
BF% approx 15% maybe a bit more

I've been working out pretty consistently for about 2 yrs. I've already done the P 90 X once with good results but, I wasn't eating very good the last year or so and I've packed on some pounds. I'm into it again and eating a lot healthier but not sticking to the exact diet. As for the workouts I'm using dumbells/resistance bands/chin up bar. With my additional added weight over the last year or so I find it hard to just use the chin up bar, so I switch it up with the bands/chin up combo. I'm going on vacation in june and would really like some extra gains.

The gear in question would be:
Sust 350 weeks 1-12 250mg/2 x week
Anavar 40mg/ed weeks 4-12
Arimidex ed
Clomid for PCT

i guess i shouldve asked what your goals were also. lol

As long as you are eating properly, the design of P90X should compensate for muscle sparing. I personally don't think you need to use any gear. The other thing i would worry about would be limited flexibility as I seem to get whenevr i am on cycle (not that I'm very flexible anyway). Up to you, but it won't hurt if you take it.

Ya my goals are pretty much just to build some mass and shred the fat, gain in the right areas and loose the blubber lol. Thanks bud!

The P90X is a good program, and I know many people who have gotten good results out of it. If you are taking gear, don't do this. Go to the gym. Once my stuff kicks in, I can't see myself sitting at home doing chin-ups. I have to be in the gym with heavy ass weight. Doing the P90X naturally will still give you great results.
