People just don't get it

As of about 2 minutes ago there were SIXTY people viewing the steroid section and six viewing the training section. That might be all well and good if the guys so wrapped up in the gear talk were getting great results. Guess what??? Most of them, even the ones doing LOTS of gear get SHITTY results and many barely look like they train. Why? Their diet and training SUCK! Yet they will spend all day reading and asking questions about exotic gear and mulling over rather to do 600 mgs of test next cycle with deca, or 800 mgs a week test with EQ.

They are clueless about the old horse before the cart principle. Oh well......

I agree with you, but this is a steroid site. Generalizing the development of our members because of people viewing a forum is a stretch imo.

I agree. Training and diet are what its all about, but that is the difficult path and most people are just lazy. It drives me crazy when people ask me what do I take to get so big. The truth is I eat enough to feed a family of 10 and I lift hard and heavy, with good form. I leave the gym feeling exhausted and as soon as I get home I eat like a madman that is what its all about.

Dougoe,

Of course it was a generalization, and anytime that is done much will be off base, but I think we both know how many guys out there do LOTS of gear and gain very poorly. Guys will spend countless hours learning every intricacy about gear and then follow it up with a dumb-ass routine and diet right out of flex. The point is a bit more balance is in order for many of these guys.

I too used to be TOTALLY fascinated by gear. That was until I found out what a simple subject it was. At the low/intermediate gear use level most of these guys just need to doing moderate does of test/eq, test/d-ball, test/tren, or test/deca and have a solid post cycle therapy (pct) plan in place.

You're right, they don't get it, most never will. It's an uphill battle we face every day here, you'll see lots of replies in the Anabolic forum, trying our damnest to get that exact point accross.

It's really very hard to make a discussion about training interesting.

for most maybe, but i like discussing different training methods that have given people great results............if people hadn't shared w/ me some of the training ideas and routines i've picked up over the last year, i seriously doubt i would have had the stellar results i've achieved this past year.

I'm only going to do one cycle to hit the size goal im looking for......as of now im a natty 225 lbs @ 5'9. I want to get to 245 and plan on doing first cycle in march. If I decide to be more patient, i believe i may be able to hit that size goal naturally, we'll see........im not dead set on doing a cycle just yet.

I do believe that far too many people rely on large amounts of drugs instead of doing the basics such as training hard and eating right. There's no way these guys need 1g of Test a week to grow. If they learned how to train, they would grow off of much less.

Actually I have seen some pretty good ones Re: Doggcrapp training.

Well, DC is one of the few training subjects that is still controversial...

How are you doing with that, by the way?

Im with ya IA whats even worse is the amount of people viewing the XXX forum lol..i think with this site in particualr there are a ot of NB to gear and i spend my time trying to get them on the right track..your right though gear is the simple part its nailing down your training and what you need to fix and diet that are going to give you gains

i know what your talking about but the funny thing is i think most of them train better than they eat . time and time again in the anabolic forum ive heard people complain that their gear must be fake because they are doing x amount of test/eq/deca/etc. and they havent gained any weight , according to them they are training 4-5 days a week and still no gains but when you pin them down you find out they skipped breakfast or had cereal then had fast food for lunch followed by pizza and beer for supper . guess what dumb ass you can do 5 grams of gear a week on that diet and you wont put on muscle :insane2:
another pet peeve is when they whine about how they started on a cycle at 200 pounds and they were eating 5000 calories a day to bulk [ just examples ] and after ten weeks thay weigh 220 pounds but their gains have stopped no matter how hard they train they arent putting on any more size so they tell everyone they have to switchgear because after x amount of weeks because you cant grow off of the same gear anymore . but when you pin them down about their perfect diet you find out they didnt increase their calories as their weight went up , guess what dumbass that 5000 calorie bulking diet at 200 is just a maintainence calorie diet at 220 . your bodys calorie requirement increases as your weight goes up . :insane2:
FOOD IS THE MOST ANABOLIC STEROID WE USE .

i see what your saying but the name of the site says it all "steroid". When people come to this site they generally are looking for info on gear. Then after a while they start looking at the other forums. Youll notice all the guys in traing, diet forums have been around longer while the anabolic forum is generally more rookie oriented

this has to be the best post i've seen yet.. thanx iron addict.. i agree every1 is all amped on roids for example this dude at my gym has done 2 cycles yet he trains like a pussy he skips workouts, never changes his routine, never pushes himself hard enough.. this guy asks me constantly if im taking anything and i just turn to him and say o i just try new lifts and try to beat last weeks weight.. i've gained 60lbs in 3 years of insane training.. some is fat i'd say like 5-10 lbs of it but still food and training is #1 a distant 2nd is gear and half the time you dont need it its a mental game if u cant beat it into your head that your gonna throw another 10 15 lbs on your bench you will...

5 pounds of fat with 60 pounds of muscle would be 8.3% bodyfat which is a respectable number, so you either leaned out if your bodyfat was higher, or you are holding steadily lean in which case you shouldn't complain :)

Now if you gained 10 pounds that is a very different percentage of weight gained.
