Pinning a vessel

Can anyone tell me from experience or knowledge what it would be like to pin a vessel?

Twice now I forgot to aspirate (was too excited the pin didn't hurt from the horrible pin last week I experienced).

Both times I had pushed about .1cc in and decided to check aspiration at that point assuming blood would still show and got nothing.

Well the last time I got really f-ing tired not long after the dose and crashed out. I'm assuming it was just the melatonin I took really late/early this morning but now I have a bruise I've never seen before.

It's smaller than a dime, maybe closer to a pencil eraser, and it's dark. The other times I bruised they were irregular shaped and only light color changes.

It didn't bleed more than usual, apparently I'm a bleeder and I'm also on Vitamin E.

Anyway, any input is appreciated.

always always aspirate...I drew blood the first time in 6 years last night and it freaked me out..but i wouldn't imagine seeing any immediate side effects...possibly drowsiness or nausea. if you were to hit a vessel..the vein would carry it out of your system as waste..so i couldn't see it doing too much harm. it's not like it's being carried to your heart

Yea I got drowsy but I can't confirm that's what it was from.

So if it did go to the blood it basically go wasted? That sucks...

I wasn't so much worried about my health, I figured if it was going to be life threatening I'd know by now, I just wanted to know if it happened and what to do in the event is was wasted. I guess just keeping with schedule is the best course of action?

if you hit a vessel you would know.. immediately after injecting.

the coughing, the crushing pain in your chest, the rapid heart beat, the feeling like you are going to die as the oil pumps through your heart and lungs... and if you are lucky, you will be ok in a few minutes once it passes, but cardiac arrest and pulmonary embolism are possible...

always aspirate.

See I know about all that, similar problems result from IV drugs with air bubbles etc.

I'm only using about .5cc each injection EoD so would the symptoms still be that severe? Displacing .5cc in a 10 pint system seems minor.

Either way I won't be making that mistake again.

I don t think I could CAUSE that to happen if I tried...it s in the realm of possibilities I quess, but damn..I need a new hobby as I m scared now...just kidding. better safe than sorry..as Mr Rage has pointed these potential nightmare scenario s out... Aspirate and remove all possible doubt..you ll be fine.

That's one of my fears - passing out with the pin still in me. I remember when I pinned TestE once, I got this horrible cough and was like WTF. If tren makes you do this, I'm a little be skeptical.

I got the tren cough one time. Pretty extreme for about 2-3 minutes of the dryest cough ever

Actually, it is very possible if you have an undiagnosed arrhythmia or electrical disturbance. The bigger worry is pulmonary oil embolism.

yeah I know this. but you would probably feel it before injecting a lethal amount of oil into your blood stream and know to stop.
probably pass out first

Then why do so many accounts complain of feeling like their chest was going to explode? The circulatory system is closed-loop, so eventually it will have to cycle through the heart -- yes?

Cause they panic and freakout. No one is dying from an IM injection, especially from 2 ml of oil. People watch too munch tv.

no they dont.


veins carry deoxygenated blood to the heart which then goes to the lungs, picks up oxygen, and goes back the the heart and then arteries carry it away to be used and then veins bring it back again.

It all goes back to the heart no matter what point you put it in at. Its circular.


If you nick a vein in your bicep for example, it would travel up your arm to the sublavian vein and then dump straight into the heart through the superior vena cava. The oil would be in circulation for a while till the kidneys slowly cleaned it up.
