My friend wants to hire herself a nutritionist at 75 dollars and hour. She is 5'0 189 pounds. Lost 9 pounds last month after joining curves workout center. She says she needs a nutritionist to help her plan every meal can you reccomend anything she can do to save the 300 dollars a month from a nutritionist and administer a easy to understand and do nutrition program. She is very not self reliant and likes others to steer her. Please give me an alternative to this nutririonist idea.
Thanks

Use the search option for meal plan suggestions.
use that option if you want ideas on what to eat each day.. if she really needs direction, in the health and food isle at the bookstore, they also have different meal plan books and such. That way if she needs a laid out plan for each day, there it is. i have used one in hte past. I wasn't to fond of the meal selections (I don't like chicken so it made it difficult for me) but it was great other than that.

If she is really 189 lbs and 5'0" she might want to consider something like Weight Watchers. The teach portion control, she won't have to give up her favorite foods, and the group support is very successful. Furthermore, after she signs up it's only $10 per week, which is cheap. Another option is that she go to the book store and pick up something like Body for Life, but the diet it promotes is definitely more extream than WW.

In all honesty, she's probably not ready for the hardcore diet recommendations that she will get here.

If she is wanting someone to hold her hand - she will definitly want to use a program of some kind.

We would be happy to help and to motivate but some people just need that something xtra.
