I assume you ride street ?. . . I got a flat on a harley w a chic on the back ripping down the highway. Scared the shit out of me. It went down FAST, and I was all over the road(in traffic) untill i could get slowed down, and pulled over. Thank god i didnt eat shit with her on the back. It was a handfull though!
If its for the street its 100 times is more dangerous/on the dirt i wouldnt care. I would check it(airgauge)before/during/after your rides though. Growning up putting patches/fix a flat in a tire just to ride, and not caring/never having any problems. After that harley deal(above) Now, id probally get it fixed bro... save the plugs for the road trips. Ask your local shop

Plugs are great for a quick fix until you can get to the shop. I just personally wouldn't trust one long term. Way too many bad things can happen if it goes down again at speed not to mention you are more likely to get stranded somewhere with a plugged tire than a new one. Just my $.02

i was on a electraglide classic which is a very heavy bike and didnt even notice it was flat until i turned in a curve and the ass end wiggled.touring bike tires are very stiff .

Ive run flats on dirt bikes with plugs and some of that gue stuff slime or whatever.

Have done it temp. on the street too, always would carry a supply of the slime around which works good. When possible would get it changed though just to try and limit possibility of kickin it early

I have plugged my bike tires with no problems. I have a couple of sport bikes, but if I were going to be running them at high speeds, I would have had them patched or bought new tires. Tires dont last long on motorcycles, so if you ride regularly, you will be buying new ones soon anyway. I only get about 10,000 miles on a tire, and I dont even ride hard.

i got about 10 k on my 1st back tire and the plugged tire has about 2.5 k on it.

Most likely... But most guys putting plugs/patches on, arent the sharpest tools in the shed

watch it lol , i plugged it myself. i wanted to get it patched on the inside but nooene would do it because of liabaility issues.

If you didn't get a new tire get one. You only have two. Rather pay a couple hundred then a casket formyself

what everyone else said.... buy a new tire. sportbiketrackgear.com this is where i get most of my shit for my k8 gsxr

blew my back tire on my 02 cbr954 luckly doing only 65, it was a hell of a ride trying to keep it up.

i would go with a new tire ( you never know when its going to blow)

most tire shops wont touch the tires if there is slime in them
