Possible customs letter?? Help!!

Hey,

So anyways, today i received two notices in the mail saying that the USPS had a letter for me to sign and a letter for my gilfriend to sign.

One was for me and the other was for her.

What im wondering is is that possibly a seizure letter from customs?

The thing though is that why would she have to sign for anything? Her name was never on anything on my order or on the outside of any packages ive had sent to me.

It really doesnt make any sense though.

We live in an apartment and the notices from the USPS were just posted in the front doorway which is a controlled entry.

Im just curious because we have had stuff sent to us like that but it was for something legal like a subpoena or old debt so im just kinda confused on what to do.

Could someone please help me out ASAP!

Thanks:worried:

its prolly just a certified letter that the post office needs a signature on unless ur waiting on some gear and its been awhile

I have had 2 seizures and u don't have 2 sign for them. If u were gunna get busted they would come 2 the house and not wait at the post office 4 u.

Hey guys thanks for easin my mind a bit.

I honestly dont think it is a customs letter,
Mainly cause why would her name be on anything? I have never ... ever mentioned her name on anything to do with my orders or anything like that.

I was just kinda freaked cause i am expecting some stuff but nothing has been late or anything like that.

Plus ive read that almost all of collection people send summons and stuff like that through certified mail.

So idk.

adress= name... post search found data. and that's all

letters from customs are nothing having with it. letters from customs explain that your pakage is lost, but if you would like to go the office with your cart of identity, they will make a search to find it. if you do you're fucked pretty well.

once again, ther's nothing having with seizure.

fuck it, if your not expecting anything that needs a signature don't do anything.

Letters are usually sent registered so you can sign for them. This way whoever sent them has legal confirmation that you have received the letter(s) and you can't ever say you "i never got any letter". They're ptoecting their ass making sure you get it. What I always do is go to the post office, show my i.d. to pick the letter up, they get the letter and ask me to sign and then I say "oh wait a minute, is that for me? let me see?" and i look at it. If its a bill from collections i toss it back and say "thats not mine. im not signing. bye".

Check to make sure its nothing important and something that you should have first before rejecting it.

Other than that, don't be paranoid :splat:

yeah im its sad cause im actually hoping for it to be a collection notice or somethin.

Cause i really dont wanna have to mail it somewhere else. that would be a pain in the ass man.

the thing is that if it was for some weird reason a customs letter, i have to pick it up since my supplier needs confirmation that customs does have it so they can resend it to a diff addy. so i dont know

I have had a letter before for some pharmaceuticals sent from Asia. I signed the letter that was sent to my HOUSE though. I think your fine. I now have a ups store box..and NEVER order from that supplier again.

thanks german that helps man.

Like i said, the main thing i keep thinkin is that they woulnt have anything to do with my girl since ive kept her name outta everything ive ever ordered. So we will see i guess

I don't ever remember customs sending a letter and needing you to sign for it. I always got them straight to my address in my mail box. Signing packages from customs and letters from customs are two entirely different things.

so is there so reason why they would send something that i had to sign to recieve?

Or do they just send something and then want you to send it back to them signed?

Just sorta confused

If you were in trouble they'd just arrest you.
Just sign for the package tomorrow and let us know what it is.

find out what it is first bro before worrying for nothing.

I won't answer that because this can get into a huge debate on the boards, cause alarms for no reason, and not to mention - totally irrelivent to your case.

Well i know for a fact that its not a package cause on the usps notice it says its for a letter.

But tomorrow morn im gonna have her sign for hers first and pick it up to see what hers is and if everythings cool then ill sign for mine and pick it up also.

Thanks for the help
