Possible Pec Strain/Tear?

Ok, so last week I worked chest, flat bench for the first time since about November. The next morning there were two really tender spots, almost right above my armpits on both sides. These weren't sore like a workout, they were sore like I strained them. A week later (yesterday), it felt fine, and I tried to warm up slowly and throughly. It felt good throughout the workout, but I woke up this morning w/ a bruise over the exact spot that hurt last week.

If I push right on it, it's sore, but if I pull the skin sideways, and push at an angle towards the same spot, it doesnt hurt. So this makes me think it could just be a bruise. However, since it's on the same spot that it hurt last week, I think it could be related.

Anyway, I got a picture, pretty bad quality, but you get the idea. The bruise is yellowish, and a little larger than it appears in this pic.

i doubt its torn but its probablly strained , i would take it easy for a few weeks imo . also remember that spot is stressed pretty badly when squatting so be carefull there as well.

So say like for 2 weeks.. not higher than 2 plates flat bench and like 185 on incline smith.. lately i've been doin 3 plates for sets of about 6 on flat and 225-275 on incline smith.

Does this increase my chances of tearing it? Now obviously, but in a couple weeks?

go by feel and dont over do it. If it dont hurt blast the exercise.

Working around injuries is what i ahve learned to do.
