Possible to keep AAS mass when nat cut?

Hey people, im new to the forum and im from the UK!

Just got a question,

Is it possible to loose body fat and not much Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) assisted mass when cutting naturally? Or do you really have to resort to something like winstrol when cutting to maintain that Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) assisted mass?

Im talking about someone who has used Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and gained really well but still hasnt reached there natural genetic limit.

Because I merely want to use steroids to get me to my genetic limit faster, then I want to maintain, now when you maintain its hard to keep the same weight, youll most probarly put on a few lbs here and there of fat, and say you wante to loose that fat without jepordising ur Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) assited mass it must be possible to loose the fat without loosing too much of your muscle?

Basically I dont want to have to constantly use Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) when cutting otherwise I would be "on" all throughout my life

Info appreicated

anytime you cut, you have to be prepared to sacrifice a little muscle. there are some non Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) supps that will help preserve mass while cutting. creatine, BCAA's , fish oil, work fairly well. in my expirience the slower the cut, more mass is preserved. but if i cut too fast then i lose alot of muscle too.
just take it slow

Yeah as I thought,

Supplments like ECA, clen, l-glutamine, BCAAs, creatine should all help preserve mass.

Yeah id probarly look to loose 1 lbs every 2 weeks just to be safe,

Thanks for the reply bro

ur idea of using Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) to reach ur natural limit is good.im also doing the same thing.just wanan get there and then mantain the mass

Thanks bro, yeah id rather just use it to get me to my genetic limit faster, rather then waiting 10+ years of natural training.

IMO you have 2 choices with gear;

1. Compete professionally and be constantly "on" or "on" most of the time

Or

2. Use steroids to help reach your natural genetic limit then try and maintain naturally.

1. obviously being really bad for your health!

The real question is how do you know when your at your genetic limit, or what your limit even is?

Come off the juice and see what you shrink down to. :)

how do you know what your genetic limit is if youve been on gear??? does that really make sense in your mind?

You can approximate your genetic limit with some formulas... Like the one Casey Butt came up with. Although according to him, I'm almost at my genetic limit and I don't want to accept that... but oh well.

Anyway, you don't need to go so slow as to only lose 1 lb every two weeks. You can lose 1 - 2 lbs a week without losing lean body mass if your training and diet are spot on. Just remember that creating a calorie deficit through increased exercise will spare considerably more muscle than eating less would. That's why I prefer to eat at maintenance and just workout a lot more often when cutting. It's slower than cutting through diet, but like I said, you can still lose a pound or two a week without losing much muscle at all.

Your genetic limit is where you stop growing naturally. Sounds like the thread starter won't know where this is as he is going to use gear before he gets there. Most here will say not to do that.

How old are you by the way?

I thought genetic limit is how much muscle you can psyhically hold on your frame, the point where you cannot add extra muscle on naturally just maintain it naturally with the right diet, training, rest.

I was always under the impression it would take a man 5 - 10+ years of natural training to reach this.

I have heard that the use of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) can get one to there genetic limit faster, like withing a few years, this my friends is what I am aiming to acheieve with the use of AAS.

Your thoughts?

Many thanks

i would say that sounds about right.

i think the timetable should be applied after the time where you actually figure out how to train and eat. All the time you spend not knowing what you are doing is a waste (other than learning what NOT to do lol).

so you spend a couple years working shit out, then add 5-10 years to meet your natural potential sounds about right.

it also depends on your physique goals. you will get to your max faster if you eat a ton and get fat. if you yo-yo build and cut every year like many of us youll take alot longer.

in response to your original question, you will always loose Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) mass once past your natural potential...
if you diet and train smart you should be able to be relatively lean and strong at your natural max.

diet and train smart= take it slow and easy...ide say 2lbs a week is way too fast atleast for me. I aim for 1% a month or about half a pound a week. sounds crazy but i also get stronger like this ie dont lose muscle...

The only way that I see he can tell if he has reached his genetic limit using gear. Is to come off after a period of time and if he continues to train correctly and eat correctly and he still grows then he is not there. If he comes off after a period of time and starts to shrink down then he went past his genetic limit. There is no way to tell untill you get there.

When you cut carbs you lose water retention, and that means size loss as well. So just about no matter what size is probably going to go down unless you are gaining actual LBM during the cut, from my experiences.

If you dont think you've hit your genetic limit though, you shouldn't be too bad off IF you dont go nuts with your diet trying to shave 3 pounds a week.

actually the best way ive heard to workout while cutting is not work out more but cut it down with more intensity like 4 days per week tops.
