Post cycle therapy (pct) from testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) (basically)

PCT from TRT (basically)

I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for about 1-1/2 years. I'm wondering what I can take to enhance my own T-levels w/a regimen of HCG, and/or adex and/or clomid and/or HMG.

My thinking is that I don't want to "shut down" things completely as someday I would like kids. A urologist I visited suggested seeing an endo because they are EXPERTS at hormone replacement........sarcasm pause..........for alternative treatments and mentioned he didn't think that I was shutdown (hopeless). He was (or acted) ignorant on what regimen that would include. In the past I've taken adex by itself (6 months ago) and only achieved 351 ng/dl total T.

I would also like to consider using T WHILE also taking other ancillaries (first paragraph). I've been using 50mg weekly of T cyp.

Any experiences or knowledge about this?

Footnote: he mentioned that for a younger person (I'm 38) the difference between 300-600ng/dl (would often) not be be notable in terms of overall virility. I was curious to get his opinion because w/out exogenous T, I haven't accomplished getting a reading of higher than 351 ng/dl. If I believe what I've read, you have more of an "edge" if you get your T above 700.

Hey bro..I am 33 and been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for over 8 years. Depends on your levels but I did have my daughter while on TRT. I get 1.5cc every 2 weeks. I have also done a blast when I was 28 with no issues.

I feel you bro, I am 35 and trying to have a kid right now. My sperm count went from 70million a cc before starting testosterone 9 months ago, to 2mill currently.

I was put on HCG while on the test, but I have issues with it, otherwise I think my numbers would have been better.

I realized that my low test was caused by several allergies, a skin infection, and high blood pressure meds. The one drug that sent me into the "feeling like crap and not shaving" was prednisone for a week.

I have gotten all those things under control, so I have begun a 25mg a day clomid only restart. I also did this because I had been taking 400mg a week of test for a little over 3 months and I ran out(stupid me)

so I had a cycle basically, and it shut down all of my own testosterone and sperm production. I now know what happens when you take a little too much test for too long. your libido disapears, blood sugar starts looking like the start of diabetes, and your blood pressure goes and stays high.

I am liking clomid, and my libido is better than it ever was on testosterone. the emotional side effect is minor for me. I have a little bit of an issue with glare lights, bt very minor

Hey, it sounds like both of you have got things "taken care of" for the time being. Thanks for the feedback; it's helpful. I got a protocol from someone who also takes testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), although he's not interested or has kids already. He does post cycle therapy (pct) every so often just so he doesn't completely "shut down". He's over time been able to keep his levels in the 300's when he cycles off of TRT.

Ideally, I would have had kids by my early 30's, my kids wouldn't have a "grandpa" as a dad and the only concern I would have while using testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was preventing my nuts from becoming raisins - which sounds a LOT easier w/just HCG or something.
