PCT from TRT (basically)
I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for about 1-1/2 years. I'm wondering what I can take to enhance my own T-levels w/a regimen of HCG, and/or adex and/or clomid and/or HMG.
My thinking is that I don't want to "shut down" things completely as someday I would like kids. A urologist I visited suggested seeing an endo because they are EXPERTS at hormone replacement........sarcasm pause..........for alternative treatments and mentioned he didn't think that I was shutdown (hopeless). He was (or acted) ignorant on what regimen that would include. In the past I've taken adex by itself (6 months ago) and only achieved 351 ng/dl total T.
I would also like to consider using T WHILE also taking other ancillaries (first paragraph). I've been using 50mg weekly of T cyp.
Any experiences or knowledge about this?
Footnote: he mentioned that for a younger person (I'm 38) the difference between 300-600ng/dl (would often) not be be notable in terms of overall virility. I was curious to get his opinion because w/out exogenous T, I haven't accomplished getting a reading of higher than 351 ng/dl. If I believe what I've read, you have more of an "edge" if you get your T above 700.
