Post-injection itch? Help appreciated.

I take T and HCG sub-q twice a week (4 total shots). No problems at all the first several weeks. The past few shots I've developed more of a lump sub-q and then a slightly red spot. About 12-24 hours later it begins to itch tremendously bad. I believe it's from the T shots not HCG based on the injection location (stomach). The T is from the same vial I had been using previously without a problem. It also feels like it's burning slightly during the injection. I'm sure to always let the alcohol dry so I don't believe that's it.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. I tried searching but found conflicting info.

Hello Bruno,

Sure, you could try a hydrocortisone cream or an NSAID to help. Decreasing the injection volume is best to avoid this in the future. How many ml total are you injecting at a time? 0.75ml?

3J has a thread on his experiences with subcutaneous testosterone injections as he developed the same problem. Do a search you'll find it. It was only a couple of months ago. Look in the TRT forum.

I saw that, thanks. His seemed like more of an infection. Mine is more of an irritation. I know that might seem like semantics but it seemed different slightly from his experience.
