Post-injection lump

After my first injection of this cycle in my right glute, there was some discomfort the next couple days, but nothing out of the ordinary. Now, I have a lump at the top of my glute near my spine (obviously not where I injected). There is a slight pain but only with pressure. Has this happened to anyone before? What is it?

did you rub your glute thoroughly after the injection, lump may be due to that, i used to get them because i did not rub the glute hard and long enough, been down the same road man but after i rubbed thoroughly the lumps went away

I can't say I've had it happen to me......of what you've discribed. Mine lump up where I inject sometimes but nothing I ever worry about. That's strange it's relocated......how far away from the injection site is the lump?

It's up by the point of origin of the muscle. It's at the very top of my glute but in toward my spine. Obviously I injected a bit lower and toward the outside of the muscle. I guess about 3 inches away.

That's pretty wild....have you tried applying a heating pad to it? It could very well be your gear and it relocated a little due to your activities during the day. Give it another day and see how it is. I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about just yet. Update us tomorrow......I'm curious.

Def. got to remember to rub out the oil at the inject site.

I've never rubbed the injection site and this is the first problem I've had. It first showed up about 2 days after I injected. It's still there, 5 days after now, but not nearly as sore. I'll keep you guys posted.

lumps

hi, start off by sayin sorry iam a bit of a noob to this!!! simular problem ive got a lump which around the area i injected! had it for around three days now ive only been on the gear for three weeks now!! but the lumps are pritty saw!! and didnt know if they might be turning into an abscesses!!! or shall i just wait! it might go away???? please some advise!!!! thanks

Is the area around the site of the injection turned red and/or hot to the touch?

thanks for the reply's, no the area around it hasnt gone hot or red!! its just a big bump on both cheeks and gone very solid to the touch,where i injected but painful to sit on or touch! it was monday the last time i injected! in either cheek! and again thanks for the advise!

I had one of those when I was a senior in highschool and all I can say is ooohmy. After I had it removed the surgeon said it was the size of a golf ball. Most pain Iv'e ever been in as mine was infected after they at first tried to drain it to relieve some pressure(I could not sit), it then became infected. They then had to pack it and keep an incision they made open for two weeks to drain the infection before they could remove it. I don't wish those on anyone!

A Pilonidal cyst is totally unrelated to Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and injecting aas. It usually starts as a small lump under the skin that you cannot see around the tailbone area. As time goes by they get bigger making it more uncomfortable to even sit down. Do a google search on it and also search for "Pilonidal cyst pics", it will blow your mind. Some can grow as large as grapefruits.
