I injected for the first time 3 days ago, injecting 250mg of test e into my right quad. I did everything perfectly (as far as I am aware) then went to sleep. Woke up in the morning with a really bad pain in my quad and have been limping around since, the pain has t eased and if anything for worse and today I have notice redness anove the injection site covering an area of around 2-3inches.

There is also slight swelling but nothing major. Do I go to the doctors? Or is this just normal? I live in the uk and if I do go to the doctors what should I tell them?

I'd give it a few more days...I had a similar experience in my delt and it went away....if you develope a fever...go to the doc...and just be honest with him....what else can you really tell him

Think i should add, last night i was experiencing signs of a fever, bad bed sweats, feeling really hot, still felt like sh*t this morning so took a couple of paracetomols and that seems to have cleared most of it up.

get in the shower, use lots of hot water and massage that juice into your quad. its just the juice all crystallized up. next time do the shot pre workout, it helps work the fluid through the muscle.

take ibuprofen, it helps. if the issues are still there 2-3 days from now or you feel like shit go to the doc

What does having a fever mean? In terms of a bad steroid injection ... infection?

Fever is a symptom of infection in the body....so yes.
Usually if you have a fever you will feel cold but your body will actually be hot.....use a thermometer to know for sure

Dude the bed sweats and feverish symptoms I had as well. Mark the red circle on your leg with a pen or marker. If in a day or two the redness has spread beyond the line you drew then go to the doctor. If he ask what happened, tell him you gave yourself a shot of B12 because u were feeling low on energy and heard that was supposed to help.
