the ground beef would be a disadvantage, your body is in need of amino acids fast.. and beef is slow digesting...
usually what i do pwo is a shake and a white bagel..
this gives my body the nutrients it needs fairly quickly..
but 1 to 1 1/2 hrs after that i eat a full meal...
food will always triumph shakes...
if you can replace that pwo shake with liquid egg whites, that's even better (but not so cost effective)
