If one had a powder of say, dimenhydrinate (antiemetic) with salts of sulfate, saccharate, & aspartate...
what would be the proper mixture for an IV administration of such a powder ? Just sterile water..?

I'm curious to know what your end objective is.

Anyway, Isotonic versus hypotonic versus hypertonic is something to consider as well.

My end objective would be to administer an antiemetic via IV. It takes too long to start working...to say the least.

Yeah, all the doctor's around here (@least the 25 or 30 I've seen) trip out on people like me. They're all almost offended that I even asked for it. They seriously think oral administration is quick enough and I'm like, I can't even hold that stuff down. Especially upon awakening...

Ha ha, actually I almost considered it. I've had my prostate checked so I'm humbled enough to do what's necessary. But injecting is no biggie, especially since I have a bunch of 30gg pins, not those huge guns they give you...
