Let your Arm hang straight down.
Feel for the Bone (Acromium Process), that goes across the Top of the Arm.
The Bottom of it will form a Triangle.
Locate the Center of the Triangle, approximately 2" down from the Acromium Process............................... JP

What guage and what length of the needle do you pin delta with?
I use a 27 guage 1/2 inch. I also pin further back on the side delt. About 3 inches down and one inch back from the end of my collar bone. If you’re not using a small needle I’d recommend giving it a try, I usually never get any pip since switching from a 25 guage 1 inch.
I usually only pin 1ml in my delts but I’ve done 2ml plenty of times. I’ve done 3ml a few times but to me that’s to much oil in the delt. Now I only pin the higher volume 2-3ml in my glutes. Delts are by far my favorite place to pin.

Procedure is same for any injection. ! To show you the difference with person to person and myself
for example. I've been doing this for close to 40 years.
I use 23 G x 1 inch for almost ALL my injections with little exception.
I don't play with using a 28 G or something bigger to draw with then change up to injection
Bullshit I just draw slower with the 23G. Then inject with same.
Keep it simple. Pick your G to inject, draw and bam. Just stab your shoulder in the center and follow thru. I have never aspirated basically. Its not needed if you understand the dynamics.
So being sterile, draw and stab. Simple Simon.
