bi's, tri's, forearms.

Chest, upper middle back

Shoulders, traps, lats

Abs, obliques, lower back, legs

is this ok? or am i training the wrong muscles on the same day?

back and bi's should be trained on the same day. most back exercises involve pulling, which also incorporates the bi's.

chest and tri's should be trained in the same day, as presses use tri's as well

on either day you should do the back or chest exercises first, then do additional work on the smaller muscles, tri's and bi's, after the main lifts.

abs shouldn't have their own day, work them in a couple days a week.

I would do legs a couple days a week. you can split them and do deadlifts one day, and squats another, this will ensure that your legs are at full strength when doing the movement.

lats should be done with back, ex. pullups

shoulders and traps can have their own day, maybe work abs in then

Personally I don't train abs, squats work abs very well. also doing single arm db bench and overhead shoulder presses will force the abs to stabilize your midsection, thus working the abs.

i agree with that and i was originally doing that then i started going to the gym with a mate thats been going for 4year and has incredable strength for his age, and he claims that chest and back should be done together so you dont end up looking like your constantly leaning forward or backwards? and bi's done with tri's to level them out when they are pumped? wether he is right or you are will i do myself any arm doing the muscles in the groups i orignallyput?

I'm not even sure what that last sentence means. It is important to work back and chest equally in order to maintain proper posture, that part is correct. However, you do not need to work them at the same time. Most people would advise against that unless you are doing a full body routine a few times a week (normally in circuits for cutting or a 5x5 for bulking).

Anyone else care to jump in? Either for or against what I'm advocating?
