Question for the experienced guys only.

I have been doing french press's, and cable push downs for about a year now with great progress, (my tris are fucking jacked!!) haha. They are big, but have not grown in about 5 months now.

Well, I have a slight elbow injury now, and all I can do without pain is tricep kickbacks. The kickbacks fell very good, and make my tricep muscles hurt alot more than what I was doing before.

My question is, will my triceps lose strength and size since all im doing are kickbacks for now? They feel better than any other tricep exercise. Im also still doing 6 sets for triceps, but now, all six sets are from one exercise (kickbacks), instead of 3 from french press, and 3 from cable press downs.

What do you think? Remember, they feel way better for my triceps than the exercises I was doing before.

you elbow hurts cause you overtrained it. goldee goldee goldee, you have the answers yo seek. you dont believe less is more. biggest mistake in the gym. you are already falling victime to it. dont let your pride get in the way of your progress. kick backs are for girls anyway. real men do dips and bench for supperior tris. wake up and smell the coffee young man. hey here's an idea. if you want bigger tris (cause your way aint workingin 5 months) and you dont like my routines buy some synthol and then you dont even have to workout. kick backs, bro whatup wit dat?

So all I need to make my triceps grow is dips and bench press? Close grip bench press right? or is normal bench press all I need?

Thanks, let me know....

Oh, and yes, I will be using you routine soon, but not quite yet.

.

Close grip, regular bench, and dips will make the tri's grow like nothing else, GM. Those "shaping" exercises like kickbacks really don't do much, IMO.

i got a hundred pounds on ya. so you lil bro. lets see. you routine is obviuosly not satifying you so you gonna do it for a few mo months. makes sense. you elboys are bothering you, you delts are getting smaller, you benching more than you squatting, etccc....... bla bla bla, dont you trust me any mo bubba? you was all ecited when i told you i could have you benching 455 in no time now you back peddling. i have never seen a guy who benches 455 with small tris or front delts. it is impossible. but i'll be here (maybe) in a few months when you get tired of struggling with you routine, supps and nutrition. peace little brother :afro:

Pullinbig I wanna see pics of you!! Post some. You're always saying how you're 300lbs and have 19" guns, i wanna see.
(I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious to see your size)
Thanks

PB is right. And do close grip right after heavy bench. How about doing boards? Heavy skullcrushers, decline skulls, JM press? Ever see a bench specialist with little tri's? Take a week off to rest the elbow and then do PB's routine.

I squat more than I bench! (A-hole!!!!!) :D

And my delts are getting bigger, just not the front. quit buggin me........:(

Here is the story why im sticking with my routine for another few months. I leaned down, went from 3 abs to 6 abs and obliques now showing. I dropped 22lbs, and only lost 3 reps on my press, and 3 reps on shoulder press. Once those numbers are back to normal I will start you routine to get to a new level.

Im a solid 203lbs now instead of a less solid 225lbs, but im going to be a solid205lbs and just as strong as I was at less solid 225lbs.

Once that goal is achieved, your routine starts. Have patience....

Im messin with you. I know you will succeed in what ever routine you do. there is a learning curve we all go thru (i am still learning as everyone should). we learn thru trial and error. keep up the good work bro.

Brian chamberlain. Best build on earth imo. He is perfect. 1000OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO times better than stupid arnold or coleman. He is not even a heavy weight. I think he is light heavy.

He also has the EXACT body structure as me. Thats a big reason I like him soooo much. Im not at his level yet, but I will be close one day. He is at least 10 years older than me as well.

what is your age?
years training?
what rep range were you using on triceps?
what does your warm-up routine for tris consist of?
do your tris hurt when on gear or off gear?
do you do tris alone or with other muscle groups?
how often do you train tris?

I am trying to help
I have 7+ years experience and over 18 inch arms

answer these questions so I can continue my diagnosis.
