Quick Question About My TRT

Just some quick info about me. I'm 27 and started my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 26 when I went in to my doc's for having no libido and zero energy. Blood tests came back at 189 total test, so he started me on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with 200 mg/week of Test Cyp and 2 tubes of Testim daily. Does this sound like a good plan for success or a path to disaster? I've been on it for over 6 months now and I must say I feel much better with lots of energy and good libido. I'm even gaining back some of the muscle mass I lost when my test went low and I had no want to even hit the gym anymore. Also, are there any sides I should be looking for or having my doc test for. Like maybe my DHT levels going insane or anything else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

200mg/week plus 2 tubes of testim daily could potentially elevate estrogen too high without an aromatase inhibitor. I would get a lab test done showing your estrogen level a day or two past injection and after u apply the cream. The gel is fast acting and converts more to estrogen than injections. I don't personally like gel for that reason.

Would dropping down to 1 tube a day be more beneficial? Possibly still giving me the elevated test levels I need while keeping the conversion to estrogen in check?

Some people have higher estrogen levels than others so it is hard to tell what you could get away with without an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) without seeing bloodwork. I would just drop the gel altogether and get on with a proper testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) consultant to monitor the entire picture and make the appropriate actions your doc most likely won't make. Your T levels are probably extremely high on that dose, which means high estrogen guaranteed that over time will reverse the benefits of that protocol. I am not a fan of gel at all due to its high estrogen conversion.

I was on a lower dosage a while about. About 175 mg per week of cyp and 2 tubes. Bloodwork came back in December that my total test was 452 on both. Labs were taken at the end of the week just before my next injection. Doc said at 27 I should be higher than 452, so he bumped me to a full mL which is 200 mg.

I'm shocked he didn't check estrogen or SHBG. You need to take the blood test the day after injection.

Its too bad he is overlooking so much vital information. I am feeling so much better but I am just worried something will go wrong, such is life. If something seems to good to be true it probably is.

Maybe I should just drop down to my 200mg injection. My doc is extremely hard to get in to see as he has so many patients, and covers three counties.
