After a weight cut what would be the best possible combination to rehydrate and replenish nutrients. I know pedialyte is very popular, but I was wondering if a combination of a serving of something like excelerade or endurox along with an electrolyte supplement then water would work better, or if replacing the water with pedialyte (I don't know if this could lead to possibly too much sodium).
This is in concern to an amateur MMA fight were I will be weighing in about 3 hours before the fight. I'll probably only drop 3lbs of water at most, I weigh about 153 right now and am fighting at 145 next friday. I only need to make 146 so I'm slimming down the diet this week. Also I was wondering about some sort of fiber supplement or I've heard of some sort of bodly flush or something that is basically a natural laxative that's not too harsh.
Thanks in advance for the advice.
