Restart protocol after three years trt

I recently tried a restart that worked really well for me and had minimal sides. I was on 150mg a week for the past three years. I am secondary and needed a restart to give my skin a chance to clear up for a while. Had bad bacne after the first year and nothing cleared it. This was androgen induced acne, not from e2. My e2 was always on the low side no matter what...I did blast once for eight weeks at 500mg a week, my e2 sensitive never got above 40 during that time.
Anyways, what I did to restart was 12.5 mg of exemestane per day for four weeks. At week four my lh and fsh were at the top of the range. At week eight, four weeks off of exemestane, they were both still pretty close to where they were at week four. T level is mid range and e2 was just a little bit low.
I also supplemented with nightly zma, 10000iu of vitamin d, 400mg of Sam-e, 2000 mg vitamin C.
Again, I'm not sure this would work as smoothly for everyone but it worked well for me and I felt 100% better than I did when I tried clomid.

The key will be to see if you can maintain normal TT levels when your LH/FSH levels come down. If your LH/FSH stay at the top of the normal range, that is not a good thing. It means there is damage to your testicles. You won't be able to sustain it.

Did you run hCG while on TRT or prior to trying your HPTA Restart?

Good to hear - but definitely surprising! Adex, Aromasin, and Letro.. not known to get things going again like Nolvadex and Clomid. I tried to use them back in the day to restart and all I ended up with was crashed estrogen, plus low T. It wasn't until I used Nolva and/or Clomid that my LH and FSH started to climb.

Good luck. I went off trt after 6 years. used hcg followed by clomid with no luck. Being on 3 years is going to be difficult. Never got test anywhere near normal range. I had used aas for 25 years though.

Could you explain why? If its just to inflate the testicles, i heard people saying that torem does that in 3 days, while on clomid and nolva it takes weeks

Torem does not "inflate" the testicles. It is a SERM (selective estrogen receptor modulator). This means its binds to the estrogen receptors in certain tissues. The reaction of the pituitary is to send out LH and some FSH.

HCG re-sensitizes the leydig cells inside the testicle. If these cells are insensitive to LH and FSH, stimulating the pituitary to send these signals out will do little to nothing.
