backround info:

29 yrs old, 6'2, 220, 12%BF

Routine used to consist of 3 sets of 10 for most exercises, 3 exercises per muscle group
Mon - Chest/back
Tues - quads/hams
Wed - shoulders/calves
Thurs - cardio or calisthenics
Fri - bi's/tri's

about 2 Months ago i decided to break it up and do heavy weeks (5sets 5 reps) and light weeks (3 sets 15reps), 4 weeks heavy, 4 weeks light, 4 weeks medium. (routine was getting stale and i platformed).

My current goal is to lose about 4% BF before i hit 30 (6 weeks from now), to get my abs showing well again (disappeared a couple years ago when i moved to germany - dam beer!)

3 weeks ago i added fat burning cardio (124-128 heart BPM), 3x 40 mins/wk. i also started with RUI Clen and T3. Ramped up 'as dircted' with no sides the first week. Moved into 'light' week #1, cramped up on nearly every muscle that first workout. wow. Platformed the T-3 at .5mL/day ( 2 doses of .25mL, twice aday), and the clen .6mL/day (2 doses .3mL twice a day)... My weight dropped nearly 5 pounds the first week, but stayed at 215...

I am on week 3 now (discontinued T-3 at 2 week mark, and started taking 1 benedryl at night to extend clen cycle) and my weight is back to 220.

I had no sides from the T-3 that i noticed, and nearly nothing from the clen, (other then the bad cramp day, and occasionaly mild cramps since then) so i bumped the clen to .8mL/day (2x .4mL - 160mcg). I still have nearly no sides, no cramps for about 2 weeks now, no shakes, heart rate is definitely elevated (about 80 resting, used to be 50), no trouble sleeping, no excessive sweating.

I hope thats enough info to answer my question - why after 3 weeks have i not continued to drop weight? I feel as i have maybe cut up a little, but not much.

Future gameplan: 1 more week of clen, i start ramping down tomorrow. 2 weeks of t-3, 4 more weeks clen to bring me to my goal date!

I would be hitting up cardio on a daily bases for the 40mins rather then 3 days a week. Also you have to really keep your diet in check (not implying that your not).

forgot about diet:
mon- fri i get 6 meals a day, spread 2.5-3 hrs apart, typcally looking like this:
1. bowl of oatmeal with splenda/cinnamon
2. chicken (boneless/skinless, boiled), carrots, navy beans
3. chicken, tomatoes, kidney beans
4. chicken, spinach, refried beans (nofat)
4.5 (hour before workout) 1 or 2 pieces of fruit
5. Post W/o shake - 8oz skim milk, 1 or 2 eggs, 40-50g protein, banana, frozen berries
6. slice rye bread, tomatoes, 3-4 eggs (if im early)
(if im to close to bed time i go for cottage cheese or protein pudding - jello fat free/sugar free, skim milk, protein, makes 4 servings with about 25g protein each)

i throw in almonds or flax cap's here and there.

weekends are my cheat days, lately have been getting lots of steak and eggs, sweet potato fries, and of course good booze (end of summer is all the beer/food/wine festivals).

safety-man - thanks for the quick reply, i will start doing cardio daily.

I guess my concern is that i started lots of things, and /little no progress in 3 weeks.

- moved to light weights, 15 reps (strugling on 14th, 15th rep)
- clen/t3
- tightened up late night snacks
- added cardio

edit: looking at all the sample diets, it looks like my inner fat boy is fatter then i thought! Lots of these diets say 6oz or 8oz of this or that... jeez, typically i do a full chicken breast (sometimes get pretty big), 1/2 can of beans, or brown rice, or half a yam, plus veggies...

also... i see nothing about fruit in anybodies plan... i love fruit! where can i put it! (in my diet)

I like putting fruit in my diet early in the day (gives you great energy) 1 apple equals to like 2 cups of coffee. Keep away from incorporating them late at night by all means.

doing tuna tomorrow actually... i like to prep at night for the following day, and just make 3 meals out of it... mostly i do chicken, once a week or so i do tuna... used to love doing fish, so maybe ill get back into that...

...still wondering why i havent dropped weight by now though :)
