Saw my old family doc today........

I agree. Probably good for you to continue living with hypogonadism. After all, how good are those studies really that talk about the ill effects of Low T levels in men?

Technically "LOW" Total T is below 219 ng/dl...
the doc I was seeing all this time did not say there was a correlation between appropriate T lvels and age. He said it could be anywhere in the Normal Range irregardless of age. He said he doesn't buy into the "appropriate" T level for age. That's where the fights happen with him.

So we are in a bind here and cannot correlate the lower T.T. levels at present...
is it from being over weight or is it the "Low T" itself causing the problems?
if it were the case....the LH, FSH would be "low" too...
they are low normal...
this is a hard one to figure out.

With all due respect, nobody cares about what your crazy idiotic doctor said. I can't fathom why you do.

Yeah... Just like Billy. Did he not drink enough milk or did he slide into third too hard? If only we knew so we could figure out if we and how we should set his broken leg. Let's keep studying it for a few years before deciding if we should set the bone. Best exercise caution here.

quit dwelling and studying this low T shit. You were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for over a year right??? so you were shut down for a considerably long time and most likely fried your nuts for life... LIKE MYSELF.

seems like you have three options
1. try a restart ( HCG, clomid or trip)
2. live with your low T
3. Jump on Hormone replacement

It's not just him...the other family doc I saw Friday also said: "try to lose 50 pounds, you'll see it T will raise"
Thing is I was between 250-260 lbs. with 582 ng/dl T.T.
why did it not slow T down then?
O.k. I went up to 295 lbs. now I'm 282 lbs...
I don't see a world of diff.

2.5 years of T shots...
Leydig cells are fried?

Do you have a study showing the results of this for guys who did cycles and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and have been hypo for as long as you?

ok..
so you think this b.f. biz is doc dreamed up b.s. ?
I do too...

I don't think you believe it is bs. I think you are grasping at straws again.

I don't think you will ever get your natty back significantly higher than it is now given your medical history. The longer you do nothing the worse it will get for you.

I'll get the 10 ml vial of H.C.G. and do Monday 500 i.u. and Thursday 500 i.u. shots for 8 weeks...
Will take 0.25 mg Adex on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Stop Adex and H.C.G. and then 2 days later go onto clomid 50 mg/3 times week for 3 months.
I'm worried about the negative feedback loop though with elevated E2 upon cessation of H.C.G.
maybe stay on Adex for another week upon discontinuation of H.C.G.?

Tell me...do you think it's b.s.?
(drop 50 pounds to raise T theory)
You mean The longer I do nothing I will have deteriorating health from Low T or lose hope of Natty recovery?

I think it's bullshit personally. Sure, being obese can reduce your testosterone values - but no way is being 50lbs overweight going to drop you into hypogonadal territory. If that was the case, you'd have crazy high E2 and a normal-low testosterone value. You were suppressed for 2.5 years, odds are (imo) a restart isn't going to do jack - but it's worth trying.

You're going to see as I did that losing weight with low-T is DAMN hard to do as your metabolism depends on testosterone for proper function. I don't even want to delve into the possibility of thyroid issues or how your docs are only getting part of the picture because of your adex use.

I just want to see a thread from you in a few weeks saying that you ran the clomid and are either happy to say your HPTA restarted, or that you're still hypogonadal and are going to push forward with TRT. No more analyses man; if you're getting short replies from Megatron, I can only imagine what the impatient guys think. ;)

I'm calling your bluff. You won't do this.
