Scared - how long for results?

I was diagnosed with a total T level of 138 after complaining to my urologist of a total loss of libido and inability to get an erection, coupled with low energy and motivation. I have been on weekly 200mg T injections for three weeks with no results so far. Both my urologist and an endocrinologist I have visited seem to be lacking in any in-depth knowledge about low testosterone and are confused as to why I have not shown improvement so far. I have decided to fax my information into Chip out of desperation to find an expert in this field and get on treatment that includes an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and HCG (my current doctors know nothing about these things). My question is this: I have read forum posts on the Internet (WebMD, etc.) of people who never get any better on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) after several months. What realistically are my chances and how long should I have to wait for results?

I would give it more time before you get worried. From everything i have read it takes 3-5 weeks for you to feel anything, assumeing you are on the correct doseage. I went throught something similar with my thyroid it took 8-12 weeks before i started to feel better.

You are doing the right thing by contacting Chip. It took me 4 weeks to feel the effects of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and I was at 300 to start. You definately need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and HCG. I cant believe doctors prescribe Test without an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Chips team sees the whole picture not only test levels.
Relax- you are now on the right path.

Thank you for the replies so far. I should add that I'm 35 years old and not overweight. After my first two shots I was tested and my total T had increased to 653.

you just said the magic word izzot..... "team"! Every one of you guys are all on my team. And my knowledge or maximus Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) would be nothing without the "team"!

"raising one cock from the rumble of ruins at a time"!

The majority of people you mentioned who were on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for several months and still hadn't noticed any change were probably given a terrible protocol. If you put someone on 300mg once every 3 weeks with no Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and no HCG, then you probably wouldn't see any results and would even feel worse than before you started.

It's easy to feel like shit on test if your SHBG is over 25.... or your estrogen is over ehh ~35.
