Second pin

Ok I did my second pin today. Everything went smooth as predicted except for one thing. After I emptied the syringe and started pulling back out I saw some blood shoot into the syringe. Not alot just 3 or 4 drops. It was as soon as I started pulling it back out.

I aspirated before of course and it was g2g. I was just curious if I could of accidently moved it before I started pushing on the syringe and maybe hit a vein or pocket of blood? Or something? What are your thoughts. Probaly nothing as it has now been 10- 15 min and I seem fine lol.
For my second question. Do you know anyone that has injected accidentaly into a vein or anything like the sort? If so what happens?

there should hav been pressure in the syringe so i dont know how blood got in there but i doubt you injected into the vein.

as info after you inject dont pull back the plunger or move it until after you have pulled it out of the skin.

Thanks Dadawg, yea mabye the vacuum effect? While I was pulling out? I don't know I wasn't pulling back when I was pulling out so it wasn't that. Like I said it wasn't much but enough so I noticed it and it arised a little concern.. Only a little though. Thanks for all your wisdom you provide on here. It is much appreciated.

I always pull out with my thumb still applying pressure on the plunger. Never had that problem before. Try that out.

@ Sloppy, Thanks I will try that. Also...you got SICK TRI'S NICE!

Man today (day after second pin) my leg HURTS, I think this one is worse than the first time. Or at least equal. Either way it hurts. I can barely walk. Please tell me it gets better. I don't wanna sound like a puss but man...it hurts to the bone. My next one will be glute shot so I hope it goes better. :bawling: lol

I kept like 20 used syringes before I tossed them once, and I looked at them, and all of them had a drop or two of blood in the top of the syringe...

Just gotta deal with it. First few weeks of injects can suck but it will get better. You are stabbing a syringe into your body so it will bleed. I never have any pain after shots unless I go into areas that I never use, so I stay away from them. You will get use to it and eventually won't have any pain. When I do quads I get some pain for a day or two. I hit my delts all the time no problem along with pecs, and traps.

Heat your gear up first. I just run some hot water in the sink and stand the vial up in there. Then after your injection massage the inj site. This works for me but as I understand not for everyone. For most peeps after they do it this way they like it and continue.
