Ok don't kill me for posting this in the wrong forum, didn't know where it should go, but what is the preferred secured email provider? I want to get whichever is used more so I dont have to bother with more than one. Thanks in advance

The sites you are wanting will mostly take anything but Hushmail and will post on the main page not to use it...after that its all good

debatable. safe-mail is run in Isreal by potentially questionable source. Google safe-mail review.
Gmail. Security via obscurity in a mass off accounts. Something would need to be worth it to be tracked there I think.

Two sources I know quit responding to hushmail. They said people accounts are getting hacked and shutdown

I wouldn't see why G-mail would be insecure. It'd be just as easy for the DEA to get a warrant for g-mail as it would for any other e-mail address, IMHO.
G-mail obviously isn't in the business of snooping into people's e-mails. On the down side, it leaves a trace, but it's not like it's hard to make an alias...
