Self injection...am I hitting the site

So, my wife used to pin me, but between our conflicting work schedules,kids, etc....I am not on a consistent schedule.

Question...I pin myself in my right glute but I am not very flexible so I am somewhere between the upper left quadrant of my glute and my hip?!?! Is this ok? I'm sure there is some type of muscle in there, right?

There's muscle there, but there could also be large nerves or blood vessels. There's a reason that people inject in specific known safe locations.

Why don't you pin your quads and delts instead? Glutes are hard to reach.
