Sharp pain injecting into quads

I was trying to pin 1cc of test e with a 23g 1.5" needle into my left quad and I had to pull out because of this painful sensation as I was going in. Is this scar tissue?

Scar tissue feels like you're trying to push through a cork or really stale cheese and doesn't really hurt more than injecting elsewhere. You probably were a bit close to a nerve, which will be a bit more sensitive. Where on your quad were you injecting?

Yeah, you're fine then. You probably just got a little too close to a nerve. If you press lightly with the pin before you push through the skin, you can sometimes tell where those nerves are hiding as you'll feel the tip of the needle more. Just move a few cm away and try again, of course hitting a nerve can happen no matter how careful you are - just don't panic when your leg twitches and jumps a foot into the air haha.

Same thing happend to me... had BIG issues walking for like 5 days.. along with test prop pip......
