should i change what i know works?

Training experience:
Sport Specific training since 2001
Competed professionally post college
Lifting, Strength training, intensive cardio, pylo's all apart of weekly routine since 2002

Cycle Experience:
4 cycles total

2005: Test E 1-10, 500mg clomid/nolva post cycle therapy (pct) : gained 17 pounds, lowered BF by %4
2006: Test E 1-10, 500mg clomid/nolva post cycle therapy (pct): Gained 14 pounds, BF stayed consistent
2007: Test E 1-12, 500mg, Dbol 20mg eod, wks 1-4: Gained 9 pounds, experienced first negative sides with AAS during dbol, Acne, ect. Body Fat drop 1%
2009: Test E 1-10, 600mg. Gained 12 pounds total, Body fat stayed the same.


Goals:
I'd like to gain between 9-13 pounds, but primarily I am concerned with increasing overall strength.
I've had decent results with using Test E for "beginner type" cycles and was wondering how you guys would advise me into branching into a different types of AAS.

I'd like to still use Test E as my backbone, and I weary of Orals

I'm looking to run my next cycle shortly after the new year as I feel my training will have crescendo to a point where a well planned cycle can be very beneficial.

Do I increase the dosing of the Test? and see how that works?
Do i Seem like a candidate for Deca? EQ?

I don't want to run tren. Frankly its power scares me

Any thoughts and help would be great

Adding more compounds adds more of a possibility of different sides. When using deca there is a possibility of prolacting sides which can be controlled with other drugs it just depends on which route you want to take. what are your goals are your planning on competing? Let us know what your future plans are and ill try to help you plan your next cycle. test, deca, dbol is always a good cycle.

I'll never compete as a body builder. I wrapped up playing pro ball in 2008 and won't ever need to train my body as an athlete again.

I am mainly concerned with strength, I want to get stronger and take my training regime into a different area. I always focused on performance training before, I want to start maximizing the strength that I am capable of, without worry about losing range of motion/speed/velocity ect.
 
deca is not for you then cause it will add tremendous size with the right diet. any time you add size your sacrificing speed and agility.
 
I would try increasing your test to 750mg and maybe try some anavar towards the end of your cycle and maybe into pct.

i wrote that sentence kinda clunky..

what i meant is that in the past, i couldn't add as much size as i wanted, because I couldn't afford to sacrifice speed and agility.

now I can.. I can try to gain without worry of those attributes affecting my profession.
 
well with tyour last post Oak has you covered. run the Test and deca and maybe if you like to try to kick it with Prop
1-6 test prop 300mg pw
1-16 Test E 750mg pw
1-15 Deca 500mg pw
pct starts 2 weeks after last pin,
 
Standalone have your ever taken hcg or something for your estrogen sides? you might want to look into hcg so you wont kill your natural test , aromasin for estrogen sides, prami for prolactin sides.
 
my estrogen sides have never been too bad. I've run a-dex on cycle twice.

I never really looked (also because i could never find it).. into HGC.. ..my natural test always seems to jump back up after post cycle therapy (pct). As I get into heavier ( or at least different) gear..I should start looking at HGC i guess?
 
Rub has a point you should run HCG while on this cycle right from the start. keeps you balls ready to fire.

Those gain #'s are what I kept post post cycle therapy (pct). However, due to the nature of my profession, it was necessary to stop training for 6-9 weeks after the season had ended.

In 2008, I had total shoulder reconstruction and lost a lot of weight.


When I say "I gained 14 pounds". that means I started at 207 pre cycle, went to 221 post cycle... played the year at that weights..

then dropped back down to 206-208 before i started the next cycle
